I stopped by when headed from the Acena de olivares back to the hotel. It's a pretty arch but not unlike so many others in hundreds of Spanish cities.

This historic area leads down from the castle to the river, complete with arch, steep cobbled streets, and a small cave in the wall. Well worth a visit if you are in the vicinity.

Just outside the bishop's gate, there's a house where it's said El Cid once lived. It isn't open to the public, or it wasn't when I was there, but just to see it from outside is exciting for someone who knows the great Hollywood epic.
