You get a real sense of place and time looking out over the Duero, observing the grand sky. Getting there is a chance to take in historical and natural sights.

Easy to find the top spot on the fortress wall, besides the church. There are benches to sit and the balconies for a better view.

Just happened over to the overlook when wandering the city streets.It affords a nice view of the river.

This Roman bridge is well worth finding, a good viewing point is off the main street to the left if going to the Cathedral this bridge crossed the Douro river.
