We had a wonderful trip with Els Blaus de Roses from Roses to Cadaqués. We joined the boat at the little harbour by the Hotel Mar y Sol and the journey took about an hour. We had an hour and a half in Cadaqués then came back arriving in Roses about 1pm. The trip was exhilarating, the crew really helpful and friendly. I suggest you take a hat, jacket, and sun cream. Sit on the top deck for the beautiful views and sea air or go below. If it is a glass bottom boat you can sit inside and look at the fish and the sea life. The booking kiosk is on the promenade on Av. De Rhode by the Hotel Mar y Sol. The staff speak excellent English and are very helpful. There are different cruises to choose from and run regularly in the high season. The town of Cadaqués was once a fishing village and only accessible by sea, although it has been carefully developed it still retains its charm. Shops and Cafés line the sea front and the beautiful Church of St Mary is well worth a visit.

An interesting trip along the coast on a brand new boat to Cadeques. We stopped at various caves and coves along the way. We had two hours at the pretty town. For 18 euros it was good value for money.

We took the Cadaques boat trip as two couples during a cruise visit. The ride to Cadaques was beautiful, and the stop in the town was fantastic. As we left the boat for the Cadaques stop, I asked one of the staff what time we were due back and she said 2:35. We returned to the boat at 2:28 and another crew member yelled that we were late and that they had already waited 7 minutes for us. He produced a whiteboard that he said he had been holding as we left the boat that said to be back at 2:25. Don’t know where he got 7 minutes late from...we were 3 late, if that. Simple miscommunication, but from that point on it was obvious that he was unhappy with us. So, when we returned to Roses, we were taking pictures and were very surprised when the boat left Roses and continued to another port about 2 miles from Roses, with us still onboard! Somewhat our fault for not paying attention good enough to realize that there was another stop, but the surly crew member enjoyed our predicament, telling us it was only a 40 minute walk or so. We were the only non-locals that stayed on after Roses, so he KNEW we needed to get off there, but made no attempt to tell us to leave. It turned out we enjoyed the walk around the harbor, but it was long, and not everyone could’ve made it (we did not see any taxis until we were well into the walk). So, not a bad trip, and some of the fault lies with us, but there are at least two other boat companies in Roses, and next time I’m taking one of them.

Beautiful experience with kids. Amazing trip plenty of great views and, best of all, the crew and THE captain, what a crack! Nothing compare to Messi but in a boat. Thank you for the trip and congratulations on your attitude, the best. KR
