A nice place where you can travel to the Midle Age, to the arabic time in the Badajoz City. Romantic and gorgeous place to drink and relax with your friends.

As said before a hidden gem of this very Spanish city. Few tourists frequent Badajoz which makes it all the more Spanish. Mainly a new city with an old quarter, this bar is tucked away in the older are and is well worth a visit. Very Iberian, Spanish, Moorish, good atmosphere, interesting architecture and very popular with the locals. Good friendly service and a great place for a chat and a drink if visiting Badajoz.

It is not in the most obvious place possible, but I think that this fact is even helping the magic of the place. It is purely beautiful, and I really enjoyed their tea.

As an international visitor to Badajoz, I was interested to try this place as it's listed as the #1 thing to do in Badajoz alongside many of the city's other well known landmarks. And although it does have a very attractive Arabic-style interior, it is nothing more than a bar. This listing would be more accurate if the location were reclassified as Nightlife rather than a Landmark.
Drink menu is very standard--cocktails and liquor only, no wine. Service was slow and inattentive, and drinks ran more expensive than we were used to seeing (5 Euro per cocktail). If you're an out-of-town visitor looking to experience an evening in Badajoz you may be better served by strolling the lovely streets and/or grabbing a copa and tapas at one of the city's many cafes.

It is a super nice place decorated in a Moorish way. The most characteristic part is the patio, with a nice fountain and trees, and the well in the entrance, covered with a thick glass that allows you to see it

Popped in for a quickie as we had seen on TA that is was the place to go. Seems a very nice and friendly place. Would be great if they did some traditional food as well.

My daughter and I enjoyed a late evening drink at this establishment. The interior is absolutely beautiful. It is a very popular place but we managed to get a table. The service was good. You should definitely check it out if you are in Badajoz.

We ended the night in this bar enjoying a few G&Ts. Lovely relaxing atmosphere and decor, featuring an Arabic indoors patio which extensive drinks menu including Shishas pipes. It is quite difficult to find but it is worthy to visit and have a drink.

The decoration is very good, the interior garden offers an excellent atmosphere for some after lunch/dinner drinks. It is normally busy, so not easy o find a table.

Yes there are hotels to stay in. If you want one centrally positioned for the old and new town then try the Zuburan ( think the spelling is correct) which has an underground carpark and is mid city but easy to access by road. The river is near bar. Parking around the old quarter can be tricky and obviously the streets there are narrow and cobbled in parts. In the new city pavements and walking around is fine.
