1 review
Hello from Cyprus Taste Tours! We're a friendly team of local guides all with Cypriot heritage. A group of true foodies, our activities focus on discovering Cyprus through food & wine...

You’ll be driven into the Troodos mountain villages to visit 3 carefully selected wineries. Each boutique winery you'll visit is family-owned and you'll have the chance to meet the individuals behind the wine-making on this brilliant small group excursion. You'll tour the premises of at least one of the wineries to learn about the process and history of wine. Through each tasting session you'll discover the indigenous grape varieties of the island and experience a selection of dry whites, rosés and reds plus the traditional sweet wine Commandaria. Along the way we’ll stop and explore the quaint village of Omodos and sit down nearby for a lavish picnic lunch. On this scenic mountain tour you'll enjoy the rural villages and meet real locals - plus the opportunity to buy wine at fantastic prices!

I really recommend to watch sunset there. It was an amazing experience beginning of October. The water was very strong, many waves. It is possible to walk from Cape Greko visitors center, there is also a bus stop there. There are many signs about how dangerous it is, please don't jump or get too close to the borders! It is really high and the water was definitely not calm!

Sea Caves can be found at various locations in this area...the area of Palace Caves is great for cliff jumping or diving (make sure you aim for the bright blue sand area or you'll smash yourself on the rocks below)...the jump is about 10 metres high, really easy to climb back up the cliffside and go again... the area below the church 5 mins drive away is another great spot, cliff diving is a little harder to access and lower (scramble across the rocks and look for a cement ledge with ADAM carved into it)...just off to left is an underwater tunnel you can swim through if you are brave enough (for the dangerous people only) the water is beautiful hear, crystal clear and mostly calm...have it

Staying in nearby Protaras, I’ve been to Cyprus several times and despite visiting Cape Greco multiple times, I never knew about these sea caves! Drove here in the hire car. Large parking area nearby. Lifeguard stationed at the top of the cliff, several people were crazy enough to jump into the sea off the cliff. There was an ice cream van set up nearby for refreshments. Amazing scenery / landscape and great spot for photos. Well worth a visit if you’re nearby.

If you spend your holidays in Ayia Napa for few days is good if you like to have one nice picnic with your loved one at Sea Caves, on boat.
