Piazza Silverstri is the centre of Bevagna. The square is similar to many small town squares in Italy. It is pleasant to walk across it and go into one of the streets there in search for nice shops with local goods and restaurants.

We stopped into Bevagna before moving on to a local vineyard for wine tasting. It was a quiet day there and this little piazza shined. It was clean but filled with great charachter with all the streets leading to and from it.
Nice theater of fools in the open air during the program of 'La Primavera Medievale', which is an anticipation of the 'Mercato delle Gaite'. Great interaction with the audience, including children. Unfortunately only in Italian. This activity was followed by a performance of the drum...More
