Fantastic E-bike wine tour of Umbria with Danielle. Covered a lot of territory but the E-bikes made it easy even for a senior citizen like myself. Danielle was very careful in leading us, especially the few spots where there was vehicle traffic on a more major road. We stopped for capuccino at a cafe in Bevagna and also made a stop in the charming hillside town of Spello. Tasted five wines a rose a white, an orange and two reds plus a dessert wine at the Tili winery and enjoyed a nice lunch of bruschettas salad cheese (grilled veggies (and prosciutto for the meat eaters) plus delicious home baked bread and biscotti and espresso. Stopped in Camara on the way back at the spot whereFrancis if Assisi used to stop. All in all a wonderful enjoyable experience

Laura and Daniele are amazing hosts and tour guides. We are just finishing a month in Umbria and found Greenways to be the perfect operator to enhance our experience. Tour operators often sound the same online but if people have not met Laura and Daniele and had a tour with them they don’t know what they are missing! We have now done three tours (Umbria and Amalfi) with Greenways and will be back again next year. They know the Umbria area inside out. They know the finest wineries, greatest food places, and best hike and bike routes to go. And they listen to the customer and adapt plans to what they want, making it the best possible fun experience for us!

Fabulous experience. A great way to see Umbria. Daniele led us on 2 hikes in Umbria that were scenic and historic. The hike on one day culminated in a visit to a family run winery on a hilltop. The mother and daughter there were welcoming and gracious and provided a great lunch and wine tasting. The hike on the second day culminated in a picnic lunch near a local vineyard with Daniele and his lovely wife Laura. They arranged a truffle hunt for us on the third day with a family on a mountain top farm in Umbria that was very memorable. We felt welcomed as they took us truffle hunting, met their family members, visited their herd of sheep and beautiful sheep dogs, and shared a home cooked meal with them.
Laura and Daniele arranged a hotel room for us as well as multiple transfers in Umbria and to the airport in Rome. They were happy to facilitate any travel arrangements we wished to make. It was a pleasure to meet them both.
We can highly recommend Greenways Italy to arrange a customized travel experience in Umbria and in Italy more broadly.

The Umbria Bike and Wine tour was one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had while travelling through Italy. Daniele was an exceptional toir lead who made the experience informative and fun. The light lunch and wine tasting was the perfect way to end the tour. Such a great way to see italys beautiful green heart.

The bike tour with Dani was one of the highlights of our trip. We are a family of four with two teenage boys and we all enjoyed our time riding around the beautiful countryside of Umbria. Dani brought us to a delightful winery where we tried delicious wine and ate lunch. I highly recommend this tour!!

Greenways Italy Tours did a super job in setting up for me a customized 5 night - guided and unguided tour of Umbria on a very short notice of less than a week. Both Daniele and Laura came through big time and made this Umbrian bike tour the highlight of my trip to Italy. I was also lucky enough to share the guided portion of my trip (Bevagna to Spello with wine tasting) with another family who also enthusiastically talked about the great job Greenways Italy Tours did for them too. Daniele and Laura made this soooo easy and I plan to use them again for both my wife and I next time when we come back to this beautiful region.

My wife and I booked the Umbria Wine Lovers Bevagna & Montefalco.
We shared the pleasant experience with our guide Mirco who was not only extremely welcoming but provided extensive knowledge of Perugia and surrounds during our travels to the Montefalco & Bevagna wineries.
His knowledge for not only all things wine but also history in general was refreshing and insightful and conversations during the travels were easy and effortless.
Both wineries we visited were of high quality in their own rights. An excellent day spent in the central Italian countryside.
I will definitely be recommending this experience to friends & family.

Daniele designed a four-day cycling tour for me to Spello, Todi, and Montefalco, taking into consideration my requirements, preferences, and the mileage I felt I could handle. It was a great trip: the rides were beautiful, the hotels were comfortable, and the wine tasting on the last day was delicious. I highly recommend taking a trip with Daniele and Laura: they are so friendly, and it's a great way to see this region of Italy and to learn from them. Amazing!

We had the perfect day out with Daniele in the beautiful Umbrian countryside. Daniele is a very friendly, fun and kind person which made the tour extra special. We started off getting bikes and helmets that suited us and then set off, the route is mostly flat and comfortable with only 2 short climbs with lovely views all around, with Daniele playing music from a speaker attached to his bike! Daniele plans little interesting stops along the way (but I won't ruin the surprise) and also took lots of amazing photos which he shared with us afterwards. When we reached the wine estate which is set on the side of the hill with views of Assisi in the distance, we were treated to a delicious and generous 'light' lunch to accompany our wine tasting. Thanks again Daniele!!

We just completed an amazing week long E-Bike tour in Tuscany. Our group of eight was composed of family and friends.
Daniele and Laura ran an exceptionally well organized tour.
We stayed in very nice locations. The food was excellent and we enjoyed wonderful scenary.
Thanks Daniele,Laura and Mirco our driver and sandwich maker extraordinare.
