Area with limited access.
Paid street parking (7.00 euros for the car – 3.50 for the motorbike).
For access methods, it is essential to inform yourself well in advance on the Lega Ambiente website and to book online equally in advance to obtain the barcode needed to enter (free).
The visit is allowed only for half a day (either morning or afternoon) once a week.
It is worth knowing that it is still possible to access the beach even without a reservation, but this is allowed to "only" 150 people per shift (morning from 8.30am - afternoon from 2.30pm).
From the entrance checkpoint to the beach you go down for about 15 minutes.
From the beach to the check, on the way back up (under the hot sun) it takes at least 20/25 minutes.
The beach is divided into three areas: the first part (wider) also accessible with an umbrella, the second only with towels (no umbrella), the third inaccessible for environmental protection.
The beach is not equipped and there is no possibility of purchasing water or food (bringing at least one bottle of water is strongly recommended).
Once all these complications are over… the show is fantastic and totally worth the trip.

beautiful, pristine beach with lots of fish, even some dogs on the beach. It is not possible to access it with deckchairs, lifebuoys etc. but only the umbrella that you have to bring from home or rent upstairs. The descent is almost 900 m and the ascent is a bit hard, but sometimes there are small shaded areas to rest. It is always better to go down with shoes or at most hiking sandals. You can stop only half a day and it is free. But parking in June is charged € 1.50 per hour. for once it is worth it. There are no services, lifeguard bars at beach level but only at the top of the climb.

I return after six years to this beach that you can not miss if you are in Lampedusa. The last time I was there it was free and I had done all day, now you can only do half a day.
We did not book there was no place, we went in the morning Recommendation to go around 7.30, get in line, they will start to drop off after 8.30. Recommendation to go in the morning because waiting in the sun for the afternoon would be too hard. Go down with the tennis, remember that you have to bring the umbrella or rent it at the parking bar which is for a fee, there is no bathroom and bar below so bring the necessary and you can not smoke.
It's 6 minutes of descent and 10 minutes of ascent, feasible for anyone. We returned in the afternoon, at 17 descents without any line without any problem but of course Recommendation in the morning for the colors of the sea.

The best beach of the island by far, but also the busiest one. By walk it takes about 15 minutes from the street down to go there. It opens at 8.30.
If it is constantly rated the best beach in 'Europe' it must be a reason!
The water and colour of the sand are so unique. Speechless.
Lampedusa has also the advantage of having a convenient airport to travel from Catania or Palermo, and the norther airports on summer time.

This beach is really a paradise on earth... surreal from how beautiful it is, if you come to lampedusa is a must.
Reservation is required on the site to access it, Recommendation the time slot of the afternoon 14.30 / 19.30 because the climb back in the sun at 14 is not the best.
the path is not long; it lasts about 15 minutes and shoes are recommended because with flip-flops you slide, parking is charged € 5 and there is the possibility to rent umbrellas
thanks to the limited access there is no overcrowding, it is very quiet and not everyone is stuck.

We stayed twice at the beach of the Rabbits, I state that you have to book the day and time of day (morning or afternoon) for the visit. The first time we found rough seas due to the wind and we had a great time swimming in the waves. The second time the sea was definitely ok, clear and with fantastic "colors"! The beach is a nature reserve so it is forbidden to leave rubbish or anything else, you can bring your umbrella but not the awnings. We also had the pleasure of seeing the hatching of a Caretta Caretta turtle egg, which, thanks to the help of the boys of the Lega Ambiente was able to reach the shore and jump into the sea. It was a really great experience!
The visit to this beach is not recommended for those with particular health problems (see the site) or struggles to walk, because to reach it there is a nice piece of road with pebbles and stones and to go back is all uphill. Going by boat, however, you can admire it only from a distance and then wanting to swim.
Parking is on the street, in September the cost was 7.5 euros all afternoon from 2.30 pm to 7 pm. At the entrance you will find a small kiosk selling food and drinks I would say very well cared for.

Limited access beach, not having been able to book, I preferred to go at 7 am, in the middle of August, to get in line in the 150 places dedicated to residents who in this period are usually busy working.
The descent anticipates a breathtaking panorama.
The beach is divided between those who want to put umbrella (rentable next to the parking lot) and those who do not
Behind the volunteers check the nests for the hatching of caretta caretta turtles.
Sea of unparalleled transparency. Possibility of snorkeling along the cliffs.
Wonderful.
The 1pm ascent is made more difficult by the hot August sun, I suggest water supply.
Next to the parking lot, a kiosk cafe restaurant where you can enjoy breakfast and lunch.
Behind the same present bathrooms (well maintained)
Access from 8.30-13.30 and 14.30-18.30

Only the eyes can tell the beauty of this place. The transparency of the water that is reflected in the white sand bottom makes you breathless.
Thanks to the boys of Lega Ambiente, the turnout remains "controlled" and the rules respected.

I was at Conigli beach in mid-August and there really aren't enough photos or words to give an idea of what a natural spectacle it is. I was very happy that I had to book and that there was a limited number of places, otherwise I don't think I would have enjoyed it so much. Stunning sea, not too crowded, very fine sandy beach. The walk to get there is slightly tiring when you go up (especially in the hottest hours I recommend lots of fresh water). A mandatory stop for anyone coming to Lampedusa!

One of the most beautiful beaches seen so far in all of Europe. Thanks to the limited number you can enjoy its beauty without having to find yourself under the umbrella or on someone else's towel. As mentioned in other reviews, the line for those who have booked runs quickly, for those who have not done so and still try to access is still waiting for shelter under several tents. Seen in both the morning and afternoon shifts, the most difficult part is the ascent, especially after the 1.30pm shift. By that time you must already be up at the entrance, so better leave around 13 - 13.10 maximum. Closed shoes recommended, the road is partly composed of more or less large stones and steps.
