Crowded, just crowded. Yes, this is where the excursion boats depart, you have (everywhere from the coast) a view of Sassnitz and the chalk cliffs, but structurally the pier of Binz has not much to offer.

We loved the view from this sea bridge that will allow you to look back the grand view of Binz town with many gorgeous Villas on the promenade. Stroll around this and take your time to enjoy the sea breeze and view.

Weekend with my husband, it was a lot of people who celebrated 700 years of town Binz. A lot of shops and restaurants. Very nice bridge. Beautiful town it self.

Binz is the place to visit when you are at Rügen. The promenade is breathtaking, great place to stroll. I'm not so sure about the city-centre. It looks like EuroDisney. The pier is a lovely place to get some fresh air in your lungs, and to have a great look at the sea and beach.

This pier is more beautiful than the one at Binz. There is a restaurant build half way on the pier. Both structures are from the same era. The view from the main street (top of the stairs) is just picture perfect.

Getting there with our camper is not a problem. Finding a parking spot is a challenge on the main street. We turned off left at the end of the road and parked behind a hotel.

As I mentioned, the pier is at the bottom of a wide staircase from the main street. The steps are quite high. There is a white lift to the left of the staircase if you need one help.

Ok, it’s long, but there’s nothing going on and I can’t see it’s possible to swim from the pier.
Ok, the view over the beach and coast line is quite nice.

A health resort should of course have a "Kurhaus" along with a pier. And Binz have them both.
The Binz pier is 370 m long and was originally built in the early 1900:s. It's nothing special in itself, but gives a beautiful panorama over the sea and the Binz beach.

For a more spectacular pier experience, go to the neighbouring town of Sellin. There you find a pier with a wow factor.

Quick stop at the Seebruecke on a beautiful day. Views are great, site is unique, very clean and well kept , some high-end shopping and dining. Well worth the trip. Would like to spend more time...

We stayed 4 days in Binz, bicycling the surrounding areas. This seabridge was very nice and an important part of the image of this sea resort Binz.

Nice to go on the sunset and catch the light and the view from the city, the ocean and the cliffs from there! Really special.
