Easy to access - wide, shallow ramp suitable for wheelchairs, pushchairs and the unfit :-) Informative walk between towers with fun activities and optional exercises. The main tower has a tree growing in the centre. It was overcast with light rain and breezy on our...More

Really cool structure that needs to be experienced first hand. The incremental climb is soft and all but the most fragile hikers should be able to make the climb. There are "obstacles" that are voluntary and fun to try. The experience is five stars. I'm...More

You take a walk the forest! Then you can see the entire island from the top of this cool "building". And you have a lot of games you can do...and obviously some cool information!

Take the walkway up into the tree canopy and learn about the forest around you. The ramp makes walking easy and there are information points along the way. These were all in German until nearer the top when, oddly, they were bilingual German/English. Reward to...More

With two kids (1 and 3 years old) it was a long walk. We had a buggy, but only for the small one. I noticed other parents carrying smallish kids. That’s why it’s good exercise. But it was a great experience for the older lad...More

The pathways are very easy to walk, you climb high but the incline of the ramp is not steep so it's very easy to push a buggy up and down. Also the Restaurant is very good !

Realy worth the long walk - great idea walking up the path and feeling that you are one with the forrest's tall trees. And on the top you have a great wiew off Rugen and the Ostsee.

A very different type of sight in the middle of the Rugen forest. Amazing views from the platform (as long as you are not too afraid of heights) and lots to learn about the island and it's natural habitats and history.

The treetop walk, then up to the viewing tower for a coastal view, is a great way to spend an hour or two. Free binocular hire at the visitors centre means you can see far and wide on a clear day. Even with very young...More

When you are in Binz, or Rügen where ever, go to this wonderful tower in the forrest. It is very unexpected and beautiful. No more words needed - just go there. No problems for wheelchairs or baby carriers.
