As far as swimming pools go this is a good one. It has a baby paddling pool then a big pool ( up to 90cm deep) for young kids, another decent sized pool with water slide for fun ( up to 130 cm) and finally a big 25m pool with lanes and a diving board for swimming lengths ( 2m - 350mdeep).
In the summer it is possible to sunbathe outside on the grass lawn and there is an outside paddling pool for kids. the entrance to the pool is not easy to find as you have to go down some steps from the 'parvis de la prefecture' which is a kind of square just beside the 'prefecture building' which you can't miss as it is the shape of an upside down pyramid. If you are looking for disabled access then you will have to phone the pool in advance as they have to open a gate for you which leads through the grassy part and then into the pool area. This is not very practical but doable. The entry prices vary according to the time that you want to go. There are three tarifs, blue, white and red with prices round about the 2-3 Euros mark. If you're staying in cergy for a while then I'd recommend you to get an 'abonnement' which is a ticket where you get 12 entries for the price of ten and you can go at any time that suits you. There are a lot of changing rooms and the pool is constantly being updated. It is the best pool in the area.
