Absolutely fabulous glass designs and porcelain. Worth to visit. Check before hand if the factory also open for viewing. In the area also many other handicraft shops and art exhibition. Surely something for everyone.

FYI - the glass factory is closed until July 30th. The craft shops and chocolate making were an interesting and colourful stop. It was unfortunate that the glass factory is closed during the busy tourist season but still worth checking out.

I have loved the Iittala glass for a long time, and had to make this a destination when visiting Finland. At the factory, there is a viewing platform to watch the artists create the beautiful hand-blown glass they are famous for.
