An interesting building well worth a visit. There is a very modernised section that holds special exhibitions, currently silverware, but the rest of the building gives the historical castle feel. A small but delicious selection of food available in the cafe.

Interesting fortress but do not expect it to be Windsor Castle. If you are in the area it is worth a visit.

We visited this place during winter. The castle looks beautiful. Häme medieval castle had been used as a prison. Currently there is a museum.

This castle is worth visiting but they didn't seem to have a guide. It was fun to explore because there were lots of rooms. However, a lot seems to have been modernised (e.g., new wooden floors) so how genuine it is was difficult to judge.
