This fascinating museum started as an idea and has become an award winning attraction. It's also in a perfect location at Penong if you're traveling from Ceduna to Nullarbor Roadhouse.

This is worth a stop, which is likely due to its location! it is free of charge and quite the spectacle, with no charge to enter and have a look around there is a great swing there for kids to play on and "pump" water

Boasting the largest windmill in Australia which we were surprised to find was donated by my husband’s cousin, the outdoor museum features at least fifteen windmills of different descriptions. Penong is the township known for its windmills, so a quick visit is a must.

A great community project. Impressive display of windmills. Total span of the windmill is bigger than Roma's, but Roma's is taller. Well worth a stop by travellers.
