It is great to support the local theatre. There is a wide range of latest releases and also features some theme nights. The theatre is beautifully restored in the Art Deco theme so even if the movie is not what you to see the theatre...More

Step back in time for a trip to the picture house of the 30s. Glamour and comfort, beautifully lit and styled theatres. It is a pleasure to watch a film here....love love love the place.

Beautiful cinema in Sydney. Decided to venture here as weather was predicted rain. Got soaked on the walk their but it was worth it! Beautifully decorated cinema house, massive cinema theatres, tasty popcorn and reasonably priced! The cinema house is an experience in itself. We...More

It had been ages since I had seen a film at the Orpheum and I had forgotten what a treasure this place is. The Hayden Orpheum is a step back into the 1950s or 1960s - a lushly furnished set of 6 cinemas with red...More

On top of beautiful art-deco decor, the Hayden Orpheum can boast a top notch scheduling manager. Here you can catch double bills, projections in 35mm and 70mm, classics and dedicated retrospectives. Totally worth going and going and going again.

Most of the world has trashed the old cinema houses. Therefore it is well worth a visit just to get a taste of another era. Just how the curtain rises is worth the price of admission. we had the extra bonus of seeing a film...More

A beautiful old theatre, so much more charm than modern multiplexes, best movies possible but also a range of events to appeal to all senses. Saw one of my favourite actors, Bill Nighy in a Q&A, just like his movies and then a special documentary...More

It's beautiful, the cinema is always warm and inviting, service is great but really it the vintage deco that steals the show. Will always be my favourite - and Maccas is right around the corner
