I'll start by saying that i am not a 'beach person', i only go because my wife is just the opposite, she loves them. So on our recent visit to Noosaville we either walked to Noosa or caught the ferry on a number of occasions, I have to confess that Main beach is one of the loveliest beaches i have... More

TIP: free all day parking along Noosa woods track! Lovely beach, great waves and brilliant views! Partner your visit with a walk round the national park then relax on the beach.

This beach is one of the best in the world! We live locally and have travelled extensively overseas, but always appreciate returning to our Home Beach, which we visit regularly. The water is crystal clear, the sand is wide, soft and clean and the north aspect ensures year round sunshine. Some quality cafes and restaurants are within metres of the... More

The beach is gorgeous! The location to Hastings Street is just a few steps away. The sand is soft and clean, the water is warm with waves to play in. The Surf Club is right there and a great place to dine at or have some drinks. The view is unreal with the National Park to your right. It is... More

I've always returned to this beach, it's fresh air, not to busy environment, lovely sunsets and always something to watch either strolling beach goers, windsurfers, kite surfers. I enjoy this beach and had the opportunity to share with my partner for the first time. Will continue to return and more in the future.

If you are looking for a quiet beach, then don't pick Noosa Main Beach as your destination, but if you are looking for a fabulous beach, reasonably warm water in our winter months, and perfect the rest of the year, then Noosa Main Beach is the place to go. It can get a little crowded at times especially near the... More

Love Noosa, always perfect for swimming, stand up paddling, surfing, snorkelling , or just a coffee watching all the action go by. Lovely walks along the beach , change rooms and toilets close by which is a bonus!

We visited on an overcast day, but it was still terrific, as the kids ran and ran and ran on the squeaky clean sand, cand mucked about in the shore line. It was too rough for safe swimming, but it was invigorating. Do a walk to the head and and look at the waves, and maybe even see a boat coming... More
