Perfect day!
Aug 2012 • Family
Dune surfing, body boarding, whale spotting, tree climbing in a rainforest, 4WD driving (as a passenger) and a great picnic - what more could you ask for?

We had limited time and for our family this was £400 well spent.

Tim is a great guy, was really good with the children and made me feel very comfortable.

Noosa Safari - A great day
Aug 2012 • Family
What a great day!! I booked Tim to take my family and I out for the day, and we had a great time. Tim picked us up from our hotel on time and took us straight across town for the car ferry. Then it was time for some beach driving, a stop at red canyon, exclusive vehicle access to the lighthouse (a real bonus to not have to walk up the hill!). We saw whales and dolphins and Tim's knowledge of the local area including plants was exceptional. A trip to the lagoon on the beach for lunch and some beach boarding followed by some serious off roading to the rain forest before back to the hotel. My children are 8 and 10 but it doesnt matter how old you are for this trip, its great fun for all. Plenty of toilet stops on route and a very nice supplied lunch. Thanks Tim for a great day, our best day in Australia.

Great trip
Jan 2012
Really enjoyed this trip, we all came home exhausted after climbing sand dunes, bodyboarding at the beach, swimming in the lagoon and not to forget some spectacular tumbles down the red canyon by the children - coming to Funniest Home Videos soon! Tim, our guide was very informative answering all of our questions about the area as well as many from the children too. Lunch was lovely and enjoyed by all. Definitely a worthwhile trip if you are visiting the Sunshine Coast as these areas would not be accessible otherwise. Very pleased that this was included in our itinerary - thanks Noosa Safaris!

Brilliant Day out by us all and Tim
Was an excellent host .
Five of us booked Noosa Safari day trip on Dec 26 th . Blue skies and great weather helped make this day one to remember . Tim was a fantastic guide and shared his knowledge with us in an informative and very friendly way . The trip was just the right length and we had just the right amount of driving and stop offs . Some of us at done Fraser Island before and this trip had as much if more to offer .The picnic lunch was perfect ,delicious and very enjoyable , trip to the lighthouse at double point was wonderful with great views . Jeep drive along the huge sandy shore was both exhilarating and beautiful . Small group was perfect and swim at the lagoon was a welcome refreshing cool off . Highly recommend this trip for anyone lucky enough to be staying at Noosa . Thanks Tim .

I had a great day with my elderly parents. We went everywhere that I wanted to go along the beach. The weather was fantastic, the tour guide great company and knowledgable.

The sands were amazing, the sea was beautiful, the lookout magcial.

A Fantastic Value Packed Day Out!
Dec 2011 • Couples
What a wonderful and exciting experience driving along the huge expanse of a National Park beach at 80 kph in the knowledge that you are also driving along an 'official' main road and could get caught in a police speed trap! Do this trip now before some 'Nanny-State' bureaucrat decides to close it down for our safety!! The Great Sandy National Park & Cooloola Beach along with Double Island Pt have got to be some of the great natural secrets within a stone's throw of Hastings Street. If you are staying in Noosa don't bother taking the long and arduous trip to Fraser Island...on this day trip you'll see just about the same stuff for longer and without the torture of being confined in a 4 WD for hours on end. Great picnic lunch provided along with an excellent guide. Thoroughly recommended!

If you only do one thing on the Sunshine Coast, make sure it is a trip with Noosa Safaris
Aug 2011 • Friends
I am embarrassed to say that I have lived on the Sunshine Coast for many years and had not explored the Cooloola (North Shore, Double Island Point, Rainbow Beach etc) area by 4WD. I couldn’t believe something so beautiful was right at my doorstep. I was very fortunate to be able to enjoy a day out with Noosa Safaris and finally discover and learn about this spectacular area. Our guide Tim was extremely knowledgable – I don’t think there was a question he couldn’t answer….and he made the day educational and fun. I couldn’t believe so much could be seen in just one day - from the 40 mile pristine beach, spectacular views from the Lighthouse at Double Island, the impressive and unique coloured sands and the tranquil rainforest walk…and so much more. So if you plan to do only one thing on the Sunshine Coast, make sure it is a day trip with Noosa Safaris…..I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing trip, worth the money
Jul 2011
This trip is fabulous. The best thing we've done in noosa during a couple of different trips. We took our four and six year old children who were thrilled with the 4 wheel drive along 20 km of beach. It was wonderful. We saw whales, eagles, dolphins, crab families , red rocks and light houses, national larks and it was all so easy and fun.

Paul, our guide, was fun, humorous and very wise and insightful in what he taught us. He was also great with our children and made it fun and appropriate for them and us. Lunch was delicious.

If you do any trip noosa, this is the our experience of the best one.

It's great value for money and you would not resent the investment after an amazing day seeing incredible things.

Just wonderful.

Great trip
May 2011
You travel up rainbow beach in a 4x4 after crossing the river on a barge/ferry. The driver/guide is very informative and takes you to all the great spots, from climbing sand dunes to a small walk to the light house at Double Island point and on into the rain forest. You get a light but pleasent lunch. The trip is worth the cost.
