Just out of town adjacent to Rio's hill of salt is a lookout below the bridge and from there you get a good view of the salt operations, the salt hill and if your lucky a very long iron ore train but do not expect...More

Nice little spot to stop and take in the size of the Pilbara Iron Ore trains or just watch the Salt works in action. A very good interpretive information boards of the Pilbara. Seating and bbq on site. No toilet.

As we were leaving town we decided to visit this lookout. Heaps of information and great views and we were lucky as a train was going through as well....massive.

Redbank Bridge Lookout is on the main road in to Port Hedland. There is a carpark with plenty of car spaces, and a modern and attractive viewing area next to the railway line, with bbqs and tables. The extremely long BHP trains come past here...More

There is a carpark which doesn't have large parking bays, however the carpark area is quite long so it's usually possible to pull up along the edge with a caravan. We parked there with our camper trailer attached.
