We discovered this beach serendipitously after another activity did not pan out. It is at the end of a good dirt road, with a short stroll to the beach. The beach itself is long, white and had small surf that is great for the kids...More

Ledge beach is in Ledge Bay in Gull Rock national park. The roads are un-sealed although fairly well graded but there is little signage or good paths down to this beach. Access is via Gull Rock Road and thenledge Road. The views are great.

Great for swimming, just watch out because it's known for having rips. Fishing is no good on the beach but it is never crowed and plenty of space for the few that go there.

A long, empty national park beach facing the gap in the sound. This makes a nice place for a wander and there is a more protected corner too for a dip. Is definitely behind some of the other beaches in the area in the pecking...More
