There's so much to see and do in the Heritage Park from the ANZAC Centre to gun placements to exhibitions to walks to visiting lookouts. Plus there's a bookshop and a restaurant and toilets. Great views, history, panels of information - well worth a visit.

This is a must see area of Albany. There is so much to see and do, and learn here. A visit to the ANZAC centre is very informative and a wonderful collection of our war history. A walk to the Convoy Lookout gives great views and a visit to the Desert Mounted Corps Memorial is an absolute must too. The Padre White lookout is just a few steps away from the monument, in the same area. All free except for the cost to get into the ANZAC Centre.

Give yourself plenty of time as the history presented was fantastic and you need to follow the journey on the person allocated to you.

Wow - they have done the most brilliant job with Albany Heritage Park. There is an incredible amount of things to do. Not everything requires paid admission either. Recommend picking a rain free day, packing a BBQ (there are BBQs available undercover) or picnic, and taking the family. Kids will love it, heaps of activities, opportunities to climb and burn energy and learn about Australia's military history in a fun and interactive way. The views of Albany harbour are just gorgeous too. I only had 3 hrs here and I saw approx 30% - can't wait to go back and finish the rest!

Make sure you have a few hours to spare when you visit this amazing attraction of Albany. The views are to die for, and that's what Australian soldiers did for us.

Visited on Sunday 24th November. This park covers so many things and you need to allow at least a whole day to enjoy it all.

You get a day pass when you purchase your ticket for good reason. There is a lot of reading and to do justice to the exhibits you need to take your time. Multimedia is really good and the personalised approach to follow the record of a soldier is rather special.

Beautiful 360 degree views of oceans and Albany.
Plaques filled with information.
Paths are easy to follow.
Lots of wildflowers...and shrubs and wildlife to see...birds, lizards and skinks.
Take your time to take in the history
