I wasn't sure i wanted to visit this place, but I'm definitely glad I did. I loved the little random plaques with local noongah information, random quotes as well as the information about the windmills. The wild flowers were lovely and the views were spectacular....i highly recommend visiting for beautiful sunset.

One of our favourite spots in Albany, makes for a great day combined with the other attractions of the Torndirrup national park and its coastal attractions. The turbines themselves are very impressive in the landscape and the walk path and viewing platforms make for some stunning photos both of the turbines and the gorgeous coastline. Lots of parking, toilets on site, and free!

These elegant structures from a line along the coastal parts of Albany. Sitting underneath these graceful, modern windmills your heart beats to the rhythm of the blades turning. Well constructed, short walking paths give you the best views.

Weather was great when we visited and you would surely need a perfect day to enjoy the walk and sight of the wind farm. The walk wasn`t that tough and there were different options. Many rest points with a 2 seater bench along the walk to enjoy the magical view of the windmill and the ocean

Not everybody's cup of tea but when you sit by and watch the wind turbines go round it kind of hypnotises you. Found it just really nice to sit and chill watching them. The Bibbleman track also goes through here

We planned this for our last day and sadly the weather spoilt the visit. The visibility was poor and the wind blew and rain came, so what could have been some spectacular views didn't happen. Plenty of tracks to walk.

Located on the same road as the Gap and Natural Bridge, the Albany Wind Farm is a nice 10min stop as the lookout point is located fairly close to the car park area. The lookout is also situated next to one of the windmills where one can walk right up to the base of this sustainable energy producer.

For those keen, there were also pathways that lead to a local vantage view point of Albany and one that leads further into the wind farm.

Next to the car park is the toilet block. No tickets necessary for this car park stop.

A few sights to see along the stretch of road and seeing a close up of the wind farm is astounding. The ‘wooshing’ sound it makes and how gigantic it is too. A short hike which is manageable and all these sights has such wonderful views!

This place is so beautiful. My family ( myself, my husband and my 2 years old daughter ) went to Albany wind Farm on August 2018. It is winter. So during our visit the weather is very windy. The wind is so strong my hand bag almost flew away. But even tho the wind was really strong we still enjoy ourselves there. For those who really love to take picture this is where you should be. And to those who never seen a wind farm before you guys need to go here.

Visited the Albany wind farm and was mesmerised by the beauty of these structures. They were spinning and softly humming to induce a mesmerising effect. You can’t stop looking at them. There are three lookout walks that are worth doing as well. Recommend highly.
