This is a great tourist must see if you love dogs. A little hard to take a photo because it just near the side of the road but there is a supermarket car park close by that you can park in and then get out a take a photo. Tip - take a photo in the afternoon when the sun... More

Rocks around here there are plenty though this one does look like what they say it is. They have an amazing number of very large rocks around here.

It is like taking your photo with the big Ram or Pineapple. This is a rock that is shaped like a dog. There is nothing else there, the businesses are apart. I think the collar looks well on it. It is iconic, it is as Albany as the whales and the beaches. That is why I gave it 4 stars!

Just a rock. Shaped like a dog's head. Next to the Dog Rock shopping centre, and funnily enough, Dog Rock Vet! Walking distance from upper end of York Street. Not like there is much here. Look, snap, off!

The natural rock formations around this area provide visitors and locals alike with a source of art unlike any other. Dog Rock is situated in the middle of town and with a profile of a basset hound can be easily identified. It even has the obligatory dog collar painted around the base

when you actually see this, it feels like an anticlimax, as it is unceremoniously placed behind Woollies. its pretty cool to see, but don't fret if you miss it

Easy to take a few minutes walk from the car park and get a photo with this rock.Watch out for cars, and always hold onto your children as its easy to get distracted watching the rock.

I'd heard about Dog Rock and seen pictures, but it wasn't on my list of things to see. We found it by accident while looking for a shop, so stopped and took a photo. It is pretty cool.
