Went down for a coffee at the cafe and walked along the beach. It was a cloudy day so the water looked grey but it was a clean beach.Lots of walks to do on and around Middleton and the heritage trail into Albany.Would be lovely on a sunny day.Lots of people swimming and doing laps in the water

I had to tell my Australian friends to stop taking me to beaches in the end. It seems that around every corner is a vast expanse of white sand, lapped by clear blue waters. One's jaw just gets used to dropping. There is no seaweed, no jellyfish, and the nets are out so no sharks close to shore either. Just a wonderful peaceful heavenly place to sit and dream,

This is Albany's iconic beach. Great for kids to swim in as it's fairly calm plus it's protected by a shark net. There was a lot of sea grass on the shore when we visited so it wasn't as welcoming as it could be. There's a cafe there and a large carpark. Lots of building and redevelopment work happening when we were there so hopefully it will be even better in the future. It's always, in my opinion, just lacked that something special.

This isn't my favourite beach in Albany, I know it's a popular place but not secluded or sheltered enough for me but it's still okay with long stretches of white sand. On the day we went it was really windy and the breakers were crashing in which added to the atmosphere. Once again not many people on it but then the weather wasn't that conducive to lounging about or swimming.

We stopped at Middleton Beach to complete the Ellen Cove Boardwalk and whilst there took the time to walk along the beach. Lovely sandy expanse with very few people. In fact we decided to return next morning for our daily run on the track that runs behind and goes to Emu Point.

Middleton Beach is the closest beach to Albany's town center. This beautiful beach is popular with locals and visitors alike; it's popular with young and old. Midleton Beach is around 4 km (3 miles) from the center of the center of Albany. It has a jetty, which is good for fishing and strolling. A dual use path leads to the Port of Albany, it takes from 2 to 4 hours. There are several eateries around the beach. From June to October, the lookout is useful for observing the annual whale migration.

Gorgeous beach, white sandy beaches, shady trees, gorgeous walk around the bay. Good facilities. Grab a blanket, wine and nibbles and watch the sun set.

Middleton Beach has 500 m of pristine white sand on the Ocean. I';s great for swimming, surfing, whale watching, kite surfing and fishing. Middleton Beach has long been Albany's seaside playground, now it is being redeveloped for a mix of residential and commercial uses.

Nice beach with lots of shells. During our visit works were still being conducted to upgrade the beachfront.
