We could of spent 2 full days just ready all of the fabulous history that was at the museum. So many very interesting things that we should all reflect on, from out past history.

The kids loved this museum as it was very interactive and they could play on the Army vehicles,it was very informative for us all. And my dad was in some of the old photos.

The Army Museum contains a huge collection of army vehicles, artillery, uniforms and more. It is all housed in a huge hanger, and I'm not sure how comfortable it would be on a really cold or hot day. However, there are clear walking paths through all the exhibits and it would be of interest to all ages (except the very young) with lots to read and see. There is a souvenir shop, toilets and a self-serve tea/coffee station. We really enjoyed walking around, and were fascinated by the war horse constructed by Army engineers.

Went to the museum with our son in law and grandchildren to have a look. The displays with all the equipment and uniforms were outstanding. The grandkids had a great time and I was filling them in on things as my father had been based at Bandiana in the 50s and 60s and I had lived on the base. The displays are well laid out and keeps your interest at all times. It is amazing how the equipment has changed over the years

Phoned the day before to ‘book’ visit. Used GPS for Anderson Rd, Bandiana. Two minutes drive from McDonalds/Bunnings at roundabout on Murray Valley Hwy. Parking provided opposite museum entrance. Small entrance fee (see brochure photo). Huge indoor area to walk around with many displays for various wars, army branch, equipment, weapons and vehicles. See photo of layout map with included areas. Also has convenient seating, small theatre, kids photo area & small shop. Helpful staff. Great that you can get up close to the vehicles - allow a few hours! Something here for everyone.
