This beautifully preserved Presbyterian church is one street away from the main street from the pier and dates back to 1871. If you have limited time in Williamstown, stroll down this street and enjoy seeing not only this old church, but also some houses from the same era.

St Andrews is one of a number of old historical churches in Williamstown built with bluestone in 1853 and still operating.It is one of a number of interesting old buildings and houses in Cecil Street and it is worth taking a walk as they do have descriptions about their history..…

St Andrew's is named after the patron saint of Scotland, from whence many Presbyterians hail. The church is a handsome structure with a tall spire. St Andrews has an impressive organ, which has been renovated several times over the years. the pipes are all original. St Andrews also hosts an Oppe Shoppe in the church hall every Thursday, except during the Christmas and New Year period. The Presbyterian Church has been undergoing a revival in recent years.…
