If you don't mind visiting a beach with nudists all over the place (and on freezing cold days!) and driving on an unsealed road for 2 km which was more like driving over corrugated iron, then go for it! Not my cup of tea!

Point Impossible is another one of the great surf beaches dotted all throughout this coastline and is located along the Torquay Foreshore reserve. A good spot even just to sit and watch the surfers as it was less crowded than Bells Beach.

I'm not a surfer so can't review that side of things but the beach is beautiful and has a good carpark with toilets. Only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars is the warning notice about strong tides and submerged objects which might put some surfers or families with children off.

Not much else to do here but catch some gnarly waves and enjoy the wipe outs (of which I had a doozy!!). Definitely less busy than Bells but just as decent breaks and on a beautiful day like we had we could have stayed until the sun went down.

We cycled to the beach and sat for a while watching the surfers and the world going by. A lovely place to watch the awesome waves and relax.

Due to all the rain Geelong has had, this road is closed. Long walk to the beach and filled with potholes of water. Surfers get ready before you head to the beach.

Awesome waves with lots of surfers. Memorial and placards are very informative. Lots going on ready for the dawn service. Well worth a visit.

This beach was very popular, we went just before Easter and it was quite busy. I can imagine it getting quite packed during peak season. It was good for surfers and body boarders alike. We had a fun time

As the creek is currently blocked it is a bit stinky, however normally a great spot to take the kids and dogs.

This is a lovely quiet beach mostly, but it gets much busier in the school holiday periods. Torquay township has grown exponentially in the last few years, and is now a bustling hub of essential shops, nice cafes, and various tourist venues with lots of parking and a couple of well-stocked supermarkets. There are actually 3 beaches - Fisherman's beach... More
