Point Danger separates the Torquay Front and Back beaches. It is quite a windy space that is evident by the few trees that line the cliffs. When the tide is out, you can walk around it along the sand.

The Torquay War Memorial site and lookout, has a stone pillar called a 'Cairn', three flag poles and plaques., Fisherman's Beach walking path has commemorative, carved wooden seats. It is the site for the ANZAC Day services every year.

This area is a Marine Sanctuary, best viewed at low tide, where you can see all sort of life, one shipwreck and is popular with those who love to snorkel.

The area is a combination of crumbling limestone, making it quite unstable and not climbable, rocky platforms that jut out into the sand and sea and some wooden stairs with a viewing platform. Wearing strong shoes and staying on the sand or paths is recommended and not accessible for people with mobility issues/wheelchairs.

There are free parking and a sign with explanations about Point Danger's history. There are picnic tables, cafes and playground, nearby.

Great way to start the Great Ocean Road Experience. I'd start here and allow about an hour to walk down the beach and into the incredible rock/cliff erosion, and scenery. The rocks/beaches/formations up close are incredibly detailed and interesting with sea life, interesting patterns, and conglomerate rocks and more.

Love it here. The whole Torquay foreshore is just magnificent. We were surprised at how busy it was even in winter and noticed that even though there was plenty of parking there werent’ any free spots and that was early in the morning. Plenty of people walking their dogs and young families up on the grassed areas as well as lots of surfers dotting the waters. My husband was fascinated with how the trees at the top were in the shape that was permanently slanted through being windblown. Lots of great photo opps here. Eateries close by. Enjoy it.

A good spot to check out as it provides good views to both the east and west and will surely satisfy the compulsive photographers out there.

It's easily accessible from multiple car parks with good smooth walkways and vantage points that give good views of points of interest such as Torquay Front Beach.

Probaby the best lookout in the actual town of Torquay for coastal views.

A lovely spot to park the car and watch beach activities, take a stroll or visit the ANZAC Memorial at the head of the Point. Look out and see the Heads of Port Phillip Bay on a clear day, see ships on the horizon, watch the wave surfers and appreciate the joy of the sea! Limited parking, some Disability Parking available.

This was a pretty beach on the great Ocean Road tour. Visited in July and even in cold weather there were surfers out on the ocean. This spot has parking, picnic tables, and public restrooms.
