Stunning food and setting

Yesterday we had a delicious lunch with others at this visually beautiful venue. Views from all sides. Cynthia and Nick's attention to detail is everywhere. 5 star all the way. Do yourself a favour and check it out. The Indian meals coming up would be brilliant.

A very special place to celebrate a 50th Birthday Party in the Cantina.

Cynthia & Nick - our hosts, chefs and everything you could ask for - catered for a 50th Birthday celebration with gusto. From the beginning..full communication. Follow-up with a wonderful menu - Spanish Pintos. Perfect execution - and so flavoursome - yum, my mouth waters just thinking about it.

If you want exquisite food in extra-ordinary environment in the hills to watch a sunset or sunrise with the quiet of the bush and watch kangaroos - this is the place to come. It's also Air BnB.

Thank You Cynthia & Nic for making this special occasion great.
Regards, Deb D.

My friend and I recently visited as part of our girly road trip as a result of a recommendation from locals. It did not disappoint - we did not expect to find a fully functioning Cantina with delightful treats and vino! The accommodation is extremely well appointed and so reasonably priced you could not drive past. Most enjoyable was the hospitality by the beautiful owners who cannot do enough for you. Will definitely return!!

Berrylicious!!
Dec 2018 • Friends
This place was a delightful recommendation from Marie and Di at Tahbilk Cellar Door.

Blue Tongue Berries is only 6 minutes out of Seymour. It’s tucked up a drive way (immediately before or after the bridge on Northwood Road - depending which way you’re travelling) and situated right at the top of a hill overlooking the surrounding valley!!

This was a great spot to sit and get in a big dose of beautiful blueberries!! We had the Blueberry pie, blueberry and coconut ice cream and of course fresh blueberries!!
There’s a local produce platter (which we didn’t try - but we saw it come out to another table and it looked delicious!!)

There’s coffee and there’s local wine depending on what you want to sip! We had the Avenel Prosecco and it was very nice.

All it was a hot day there was plenty of shade outside and a beautiful breeze coming up the hill. There’s also lots of room inside the Cantina.

Highly recommend this place!!!

Superb retreat

This is the best place for everyone, I attended a function here and it was so good, the atmosphere, friendly service, location and the food and drinks were divine, they made my gluten free tapas with perfection, a great selection and full of flavour.
I can’t wait for them to be open for the berry season to taste some more of their divine food. It also has accommodation if you looking for somewhere relaxing and breath taking. And some jam sessions as well.
You won’t be disappointed this is paradise.

Outstanding accommodation, friendly hosts

This off-the-grid accommodation has everything you would expect in a stylish and comfortable hotel room. Large verandahs provide shade in summer and provide sweeping views. There is a shared, large living area and plenty of outdoor sitting spaces with sheltered courtyards or open views. Onsite dining is excellent - we had delicious breakfasts and great coffee. Food and wine is sourced locally. Our hosts had faultless recommendations for wineries, restaurants and attractions in the area. Being only just over an hour from Melbourne, we highly recommend Bluetongue for a long weekend or week to relax and explore the region.

Hosts Cynthia and Nick made us so welcome that we stayed longer. Great food, coffee and local wine and beer. Rooms were comfortable and being off grid was an added attraction. Great story about the place and their recommendations were all spot on. Definately by back if in the area.

Fabulous farm stay!

Our 3-day stay was an absolute delight! The open space and sweeping views provide an amazing backdrop to our room. Loved the breakfasts prepared by Cynthia and Nick, such an engaging hosts. Or yes, the variety to choose from, and lastly, not to forget the hot and yummy pizzas prepared for us in one of the evenings. The location is fantastic as it is convenient to the region's wineries and sustainable produces.
