You can’t visit Lorne without checking it this iconic icon. The beach next to bridge is a great spot as well. Also features an excellent cafe.

DIRECTIONS: follow Otway St all the way to car park at the end

Yes, its only a bridge but what a good one.
I remember this as a kid and many years later revisited.
Good information board too.

Easy to spot from your car and thankfully we found an easy place to pull in, we were going to go to the cafe but noticed it was very busy

We drove by this spot and decided to stop as it looks very scenic.

It gives you nice photo opportunities and has a little cafe at one side of the bridge.

Visited on Wednesday 28th February. I remember crossing this swing bridge many years when we camped nearby. It is amazing it is still there and being used today. It's a short cut to get to the beach.

Great place to visit, however found it abit hard to find the parking area, so just turn at the information Centre and follow the road around.
Bridge was great to walk over however the water underneath seemed very stagnant.

This is a classic old swing bridge which is worth stopping and taking a few photos. I would have liked more information on it but it is really interesting and seeing something well kept from the past is important.

It's a bridge over a very narrow river, why would anyone need tripadvisor to review. Etc etc. It helps you.

I'm in my mid 50's now but still remember traversing this swinging bridge as a child. It is iconic Lorne and a reminiscence of old school bridge building. Hard to go across this without a big smile on your face! A reminder of Lorne before it became mainstream.

The Lorne Swing Bridge is an attractive addition to Lorne. Whilst no a long bridge it is different and well worth the detour to take it in.
