This is a very interesting mural, and I think children would enjoy it. There are lights and things strategically placed so that it can be seen well at night. The project was started, then put on hold due to lack of funds for some time, but finally finished and certainly looks smart enough.

This is a great little piece of architecture. Loved the thong playing pipes, this was so much fun. Many little nooks and crannies to investigate. A great spot.

We saw the mural from across the lake and was so glad we investigated. What a magical structure! It took over 20 years to create and the community helped creat the ceramic tiles. Very reminiscent of Gaudi's Parc Guell in Barcelona Spain.

You so must take a look - absolutely fantastic!

Whilst this was officially opened in 2010-- the project began in 1983... and once you wander around the sculptures... you will understand why. It's so whimsical and interesting... you turn a corner to notice something unique and quirky. This is set on the shore of Lake Benalla ... and it's definitely worth stopping to look at.

For children and for adults alike, this will evoke your curiosity and return you to a time where your imagination reigned. It's an incredible place to stop and spend some time when you are in Benalla.

Just near the visitors centre this clay ceramic feature stands out. Kids can explore the quirky spaces while sitting in the shade overlooking the river was pretty good too. A nice spot to soak in the serenity and even picnic.

I thoroughly enjoyed exploring all the nooks and crannies in this stunning work of art. So much work has gone into this. I have never seen anything like it. You can't miss it...on the edge of the lake near the bridge.

Came across this work of art when stretching legs after long drive. Wished we had the grand kids with us. So many surprise alcoves and seats and many places to hide. Even some 'monsters' carved in

Apparently it took 27years to build and the largest community artwork in Australia. The structure includes an amphitheatre, two sets of sound pipes for performances (we used our flip flops to play music). Very special!

Very lovely structure and beautifully made.
Different perspectives from different angle with lots of twists and turns and hiddey holes.
Would be great for kids.
In a lovely part of the town next to the info centre, lake and just across the bridge from the botanic gardens.
could do with better info about it though.
Worth a visit.
