No visit to Melbourne is complete without traveling the Great Ocean Road, home to some of Australia’s most dramatic scenery. Eliminate the hassle of car rental on this tour, which includes stops at Port Campbell and Great Otway National Park. Receive personalized attention from your guide, and access more of the Great Ocean Road than larger bus tours do. Convenient hotel pickup and drop-off are included from most Melbourne hotels.

A lovely short walk through the rain forest, with ferns, majestic Mountain Ash trees and a little stream. The path has been very well constructed.

Mait's Rest is a lovely walk. It has been upgraded recently with seats along the way to sit and enjoy the tranquility. If you are in the area, take the time to stop. Note it is on the main road but not well sign posted. It is easy to drive past.

Sadly this was closed. I have been here many times before and excitedly described it to my new wife and daughter. We were so disappointed that it was closed

Located just outside Apollo Bay this a great place to visit as you can wander through the forest viewing the amazing giant trees, lush ferns and other vegetation. We were staying at Captains of Bay guesthouse in mid-2019 and our hosts strongly and thankfully recommended we visited. It’s named after Maitland Ryan who was the districts first forestry officer and it’s apparently where he would rest his horse. Free parking is just off the Great Ocean Road and it wasn’t busy when we visited in April. The majority of the pathways are over timber boardwalks so there shouldn’t be any major problems for people with less able mobility issues. Unfortunately, we didn’t see any wildlife but this walk still provides you with some great photo opportunities. Highly recommended.

Apparently this has been closed for months. It was one of the places we were most looking forward to. It’s a real shame as we will probably never be returning to this area again for at least a few decades. Our tour guide instead took us to another rainforest area, but I forget the name.
