If you are nature lover and loves to great peaceful walks, then is one of the most important walks you can't miss. Water Hole within the walks is amazing and beautiful. Great for Swimming and refreshing.

Be sure to stop and admire the views as you travel on the East Coast of Tasmania. Crystal clear water, clean fresh air and wonderful bush to wander in.

Easily to find, easy walk, nice little spot to have a swim, can be lots of people all in the 1 spot, so walk a little further down. Take insect repellent as can be mosquitoes

We arrived (after a short trip along a dirt road) to the southern end of the Park. It was a short walk to the watherhole where we witnessed eagles circling above, a wallaby in the bush and fish swimming in the clear water. The track...More

If it’s a warm day, definitely take the short walk to the water hole. So fresh and lovely for a dip. The children went in and also enjoyed playing on the rocks. Loved it here!

Lovely swimming spot only a 10min walk from the carpark. Clear water, perfect temp and quite deep in the middle. Not sandy so there's no real beach

We enjoyed our walk to the Doug Aspley Gorge. It takes about 2 to 3 hours return. Walk towards the waterhole, most people do this but do go beyond over the rock and walk through the forest and listen to the birds. Then descend into...More

Because of a few negative comments, we nearly didn’t go to the waterhole but I’m glad that we did. On the drive in, quite a few trees have been cleared which is a shame but it’s a picturesque drive nonetheless. From the car park it’s...More
