Loved the Wombat experience with Jenny !!
We enjoyed all the animals, with the Tassie Devils a highlight. The wombat experience cost us extra, but was well worth it. We got to cuddle, feed and play with Jenny the young Wombat...amazing experience and one we will never forget. The place is well run with very polite and friendly staff. A great spot to see wildlife up close and learn about Tasmania's unique characters.

    Devils galore + much more
If you actually want to see Tassie Devils & Quolls up close, this is the perfect place to visit. There are also a large number of other Australian native fauna favourites. Great setting. Easy walk around. Would have liked to see a lot more bird-like - very low on parrots , finches etc in the large walk-through aviaries. Nevertheless, recommend a visit for sure!

    Pleasantly suprised
We were pleasantly suprised with our visit to Natureworld today. Staff were friendly and place was well kept and animals seemed happy. We saw heaps of Tasmanian Devils as well as many other animals (wombats, kangaroos, echindas, wallabies, quolls, parrots, cockatoos, owls). My 3yo was able to feet and pat the wallabies which she really enjoyed. It's a small place and took us about an 1hour to see it all including the Tasmanian devil feeding/talk. It is on the pricier side but would recommend it especially for younger kids.

    Gentle joy with the critters
What a wonderful, fun visit this was! The animals seem well cared for in spacious and natural enclosures / habitats, and the staff were very friendly and helpful too. It's not a huge place, and you could cover it in an hour, but we spent much of the day here, just enjoying watching the animals and hanging out with them. Top tip; Pay the $5 for the bag of food - there's nothing quite as joyous as feeding a gentle kangaroo, who is holding your hand with their paws as they eat.

    Relaxing morning with the animals.
A lovely morning spent enjoying the surroundings, and viewing the animals. Very educational, a fantastic opportunity to see Devils displaying natural behaviours. The animals appeared relaxed and not at all worried about people. Opportunities to get up close to the more friendly animals and feed them. Conservation and unique experience in one place. A safer place to have close encounter with Australian native animals.

Amazing place. I dropped in fairly last minute and managed to see the Devil feeding. Being the off-season and having some rough weather hit Tas, I managed to be the only person for the afternoon timeslot. The staff member (I cannot remember her name but she did the last feeding on thurs 09/06) deserves a huge shout out! Professional, friendly and really easygoing, it's obvious she has a passion for her work. Gave some great tips for exploring Tassie as someone also from W.A!

The park itself is quite large and they have heaps of animals to see. Many of the enclosures are immersive, meaning you go in and get up close, in a respectful manner. There is plenty of space for families to have a picnic surrounded by birds and Kangaroos, as well as a playground and a great view over the water.

The Tas Devils were a treat to see and put on quite a show - they are really charming little terrors in person.

Even as a solo traveller in his early 30's, I got a lot out of my short visit here and cannot recommend it enough. Only 10min out of Bicheno, you would be crazy to not pop in if anywhere nearby. Make sure to try and time it with the feedings!

We decided to go to Natureworld specifically to see the beautiful & rare Tasmanian Devil.
Although they have plenty of other animals there & you can feed Kangaroos, our mission was the devils & we were not disappointed.
Natureworld exceeded our expectations as all the devils came out & the feeding times they have 10.30am 12.30pm & 15.30pm i feel you will always see one. In our case we saw 5 pumps in one pen adults in two other pens & more pups & mothers in other pens.
We also had a young guide who was absolutely brilliant. His name was Chris, he feed the Devils & was so informative. I spent about 30 minutes with him after the feeding & he answered all my questions.
Chris was a wealth of information.
This is a must visit for Tassie Devils but have a huge amount of other animals.

This was one of three Sanctuaries we visited , it is well laid out has a number of Tasmanian devils as a draw , and numerous Kangaroo's and Wallaby's to feed wandering around . We attended one of the keeper feeding sessions with Possum and Quoll and were impressed both with the enthusiasm and content by the young keeper . A good 2+ hours , a cafe , and the inevitable shop , only negative comment as it is clearly on the tourist bus trail which is needed for revenue ,but will impact on your viewing , but for us NOT ,as we were leaving as the coach arrived

The staff were friendly & very helpful. We purchased a bag of food for the Kangaroos which ate it out of our hands & loved a pat.You can watch animals been fed at certain times of the day & learn about them at the same time as well as wonder around on your own. It's a lge park & easy to get around.Good variety of Birds in the walk through Aviary & other aviaries as well.Lge amount of Tasmanian Devils which are beautiful & run over to the fence to see you. Some are plain black while other's have the white markings on them as well.Big Wombats walking around their enclosure & you can pat a baby Wombat at feed time which is lovely.Snakes,Lizards & a Nocturnal section where the Masked Owl,Golden Brushtail Possum & Grey Goshawk are.Another lge enclosure has Emu's,Indian Peacocks & white Peacocks wandering around. The Peacocks also wander around in the grounds as well.More to see as well. It's easy to spend a good couple of hours here & kids love it.Light meals & drinks at Cafe & there's a souvenir shop.Enjoy

We stumbled upon the East Coast Natureworld driving to Coles Bay from Binnalong Bay and boy were we glad we did! We took a gamble entering, knowing there were no other cars in the parking lot. After speaking with the host, she mentioned the animals on-site were very playful at this time of year and that we'd see a lot of activity. We entered the park and we were so blown away! We were immediately greeted by free-roaming wallabies who wanted nothing but some feed and a scratch. They were so playful and loving, some even carrying their Joeys in pouch and allowing us to have a pat.
We actually got to the park just before the Devils, Quoll and Wombats feeding time, so we jumped on the walking tour and tagged along. James and James were completely AMAZING!!! So full of knowledge, charisma and humour! They both ran separate parts of the feeds and brought totally different stories and anecdotes to their experiences.
We had an absolute ball at the East Coast Natureworld and found it was totally kid friendly (1.5y/o walker), just watch out for little trip overs and the Wallaby poop!! (haha).
A totally up close and personal experience that we will never forget!

I'm usually not a fan of captive animals but this conservation park was exceptional. Huge property with plenty of Australian wildlife to observe. I would highly recommend the Tassie devil/wombat show. Unfortunately I can’t remember the presenter’s name but it was a red-headed man who was such an engaging, informative presenter! I’d seen Tassie devils on previous trips but this was by far the best experience as I learnt so much more. Even the family groups and their kids were captivated. The woman doing the wombat show was also excellent. You could really see how much the conservationists cared for the animals, and were passionate about what they do and educating others. Plus the little gift shop is great and also includes some well-curated recycled clothing for those who can’t resist a little op-shopping.

East coast nature world was a great day out for our family. On arrival we bought a bag of food and the wallabies were happy to eat from our hands. The park rangers really took the experience to the next level with their knowledge and entertaining way they presented the information. They had the kids attention during the feeding times of various animals and often children could touch the animals. We arrived just before 10 and walked with various rangers to different enclosures watching the animals being fed and hearing about them. The sanctuary over looks the water, has a park for kids to play and the cafe had good coffee. Money well spent

This is a great, low-key park providing up-close viewing of devils and wombats. Don't miss feeding time and the informative commentary provided by the enthusiastic animal keepers. Quolls and a number of other animals can be viewed as well in a peaceful location. This is a good value for money experience of both rescue and resident animals.

A fantastic way to spend a few hours seeing a large number of Australia’s amazing fauna.
Yes, as everybody else says they have lots of Tasmanian devils, and it’s best to plan your trip around their feeding times. Feeding in the night house is also excellent for viewing sugar gliders and a possum. Wallabies, pademelons and kangaroos, quolls, wombats, echidnas, and a plethora of Australian birds, some rare, are all there, and you can walk freely amongst many of them.
By all means purchase a bag of food ($2 A) and feed the kangaroos which will happily eat out of your hand.
The friendly guides are extremely well informed; they seem to love what they do and enjoy sharing their abundant knowledge with visitors.
By all means you should make time for this animal sanctuary. Highly recommended.

Would highly recommend this wildlife park to anyone travelling in the area. Arrived not long after opening and were privileged to be able to watch Chris feeding the Devils - learnt so much from him about these little animals. He then took us over to the baby wombats and then watched him feeding the quolls. The park was very pleasant to wander around, through bird aviaries and checking out various enclosures. They do an amazing job, and deserve as much assistance as we can give them.
