Needing somewhere to stay we found this place & I must agree with the majority of reviews, it was brilliant, relaxing with real outback feel amenities & lots of flat level camping spots but the clinger was just in the next paddock. The 4wd track was an absolute ripper, we played around for a couple of hours & had a... More

A very friendly welcome from Liz after selecting our own spot to set up. A beautiful outlook of the sheep calmly grazing between us and the bush. Toilets and hot showers on site. At $10 per head, per night, a fantastic stay. Within easy distance of Naracoorte, shops, caves and Bool Lagoon. A perfect alternative to a caravan park for... More

We did not stay at Black Cockatoo Bush Camp but visited it with a caravan club while staying in Naracoorte. As a club we were invited out to the bush camp to inspect the property with the aim of staying there in the future It is a easy short drive from Naracoorte with mostly sealed roads. As a group we... Spent 2 days at this great low cost camp. Liz and Ken welcomed our group and for a donation to the RFDS, supplied lots of wood for our campfires. Yabbies were plentiful in the dams. Rustic but clean amenities. Power available if required. Great camping for families. Water and fireplaces through the bush setting. Pleasant bush walks. 4WD tracks. Large... More

Stayed here one night by chance in motorhome but would liked to have stayed longer $10 per head with showers and toilets only 14kms from town, nice little 3km bush walk and waterhole with fish and yabbies in natural setting would be great for big groups as well, has a few powered site I believe. Pets welcome

If you want a simple but beautiful bush camp, this is a great spot to unwind and chill out. It's out of town and off-grid but with hot showers and flushing loos. Lots of space, open fires in season, and a lovely piece of scrub to do a 3km loop walk in. We saw lots of wildlife including the endangered... More

Passing through on a road trip across country, thought I'd stop in having seen the sign on the highway, wow what a great decision. I love this place - cheap, tidy, surrounded by greenery with bush walking trails (if your into that) and the old fella that runs the show is an absolute champion! Can't rate the experience highly enough👍👍👍

It was a great spot to relax by the fire and watch the sun go down through the trees after a long day exploring the Naracoorte Caves. Only $10 a head and the amenities were very clean and nice while still providing that bush camping feel. Will definitely come back. Owners and caretakers were very friendly and welcoming.

I don't want to say how great this place is because I don't want everyone finding it. I went for a weekend with the Wimmera 4x4 club. Liz & Ken made us feel so welcomed & really looked after us. Thank you & I can't wait to return.

everything is very basic, lovely walk through the bush track which I enjoyed even though I normally hate walking ! Even though it was busy it has enough space to be away from others and quiet at night Someone had interfered with the hot water for the showers and therefore cold showers all weekend ! Have used the four wheel... More
