I was told we’d get 50% off if we didn’t sight a whale on the day for swimming with the whales.. ok, so we saw a few whales for $195.. when whale watching is only $75. The crew didn’t really seem to care too much if we got to swim with the whales or not. The best part was when we were told the experience would go for approximately four hours.. 11am to 1:30pm for some reason just didn’t feel like the complete four hours but I don’t know, I didn’t have a watch on me. Sunreef felt like a great and welcoming place on arrival but the total experience was a complete scam of your money with our experience and very overpriced with no discount for next time. Wouldn’t recommend any family, friends or tourists

Hubby and I joined a group of approx 80 others last Thursday, all with the same wish, to see lots of those beautiful big mammals. Alas we only saw a mum and her bub but having never been out whale watching I saw happy enough. Crew were helpful but never saw the deep clean happening half-way through our trip? Don’t know what happened there. Lots of passengers throwing up due to the ocean being a bit rough. I had taken a motion sickness tablet before departing and was fine. I’m sure at the peak of the season there is an abundance of whales, so choose your timing folks. I would rate our trip an 8/10.

I've worked up in Cairns as a Dive Instructor for a couple of years, so trust me when I say these guys have a smooth operation going! The vessels are modern and clean, equipment is well kept and good quality and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks Johnny for taking us on some sick dives and shouts to 'T' who was very friendly and created a great atmosphere on board. Will be back!

Went on an escorted double dive to Flinders Reef. Amazing experience by very professional and friendly staff from Sunreef diving. Plenty of coral and abundant sea life. An absolute must for divers looking for an awesome adventure with a friendly and safety conscious crew. Thoroughly recommend it.
