Unit 6/9 Pacific Boulevard Point “Cartwright” in Buddina. Gorgeous newly refurbed and fitted out top floor apartment with rooftop entertaining. Steps to the white sand of Point Cartwright and also to the Mooloolah river for fishing and swimming on both sides of the peninsular. Turtle nesting, whale watching, butterfly colony, dolphins and surfing. A minute stroll to great coffee shop, parklands with play and fitness equipment. Views aplenty across to Mooloolaba, and out to the Pacific Ocean from every room.

Visited on Monday 13th July. I always enjoy coming here for a walk around the headland even on a chilly winters day.

Whilst in lockdown in Mooloolaba we normally visited Port Cartwright beach at least once a week. Easy to find from Kawana Shopping Mall, just follow the signs from the main road to the boat ramp. Near the main car park at the end of the road is the only "coffee stop" which is always busy but closed on a Monday. A very nice walk from the car parking areas along the river to the estuary with views over the marina, fishing boat docks and towards Mooloolaba beach. Flat and even with some seatingvareas. After 4pm dogs are allowed off leash so we avoid that time as it becomes very busy with dogs running along the footway with their owners. Needless to say some are better controlled than others. At the end of the Spit, when the tide is out, lots of rock pools etc. Dogs are allowed off leash in this area all the time. Lots of great views, plenty of bird life including Ospreys, a very nice walk....before 4pm.

This is a great spot to view Mooloolaba Beach and south towards Caloundra. I regularly go there for a walk and take in the amazing views.
