Amazing and well designed trail network
Jul 2020
An amazing place for mountain bikers, from beginners to experts. Lots of trails to take advantage of, and a number of kids tracks that my children took advantage of. There were a couple of beginner trails that families (with youngish children) could use too.

There are toilet facilities at the trail head. There are a couple of walking tracks as well, if you didn't bring your bike.

We had orginally planned a visit here on the back of a camping trip; we are now looking at doing a visit here (from Brisbane) just for the trails.

Fantastic facility

Great facility for mountain bikes, and for people of all ages. Plenty of parking, fenced area for saddling horses and good public toilets on site.

Good walking tracks
May 2019 • Friends
Have walked the trails quite often, some trails are for sharing with bikes and horses, some are walking only. Dogs must be on leash, every time i go there are more improvements, alot more tree planting, and interesting additions to the tracks for the mtb riders to make their rides more interesting. It would be good to see more walkers.

Excellent work Gympie Council

Great place for an early morning of afternoon run. Approx 3.5 Kms from Kidd Bridge to Aldi end loop. I went alone and felt perfectly safe. Lovely river views. Well done to the council asset to our town.

Great Mountain Biking Tracks
Mar 2017 • Family
A great place for mountain bike riders of reasonable ability, lots of winding tracks through woodland. Lots of birds throughout the park. Easy to get lost if you don't stay aware of your position.

Hard to find on foot

The climb around Gympie's hills trying to find the track was more of a workout than the network itself. Well-signposted trails and friendly locals help you determine best walking tracks. Some areas are only for MTB. Flat and shady.

Excellent community planning project!

I have visited the trail network with my family. I live in the Gympie region and so the tracks are very accessible. We walked some of the tracks and found them quite easy to follow, so are planning to take our bikes and horse back in the near future. You could easily spend a day at the trail network as the tracks go on for quite long way and there are sections for novice bike riders and those who are more experienced. Very well planned.

Almost - Downtown MTB and Horse Trails

Close to town you'll find a set up that will suit riders for all levels. Top skills sections at one end of the spectrum and a kids track at the other. In between, skill wise, is a network that flows beautifully. It dips, turns, berms, jumps and rolls well. This place is a blast. I once drove an hour to ride "The Jinker Trail" and thought that a waste of time, but these Gympie trails which are a three and a half hour drive for me were not a disappointment. Do note, they get use by the occasional horse rider.
