Message from TripAdvisor:The walking track to Minnehaha Falls (North Katoomba) is currently closed until further notice - due to safety risks relating to the instability of a rock overhang. Council is currently considering options to undertake the work required to safely reopen the track. This will take some time and we thank you for your patience. Those ignoring closure fencing and closure signage do so at their own risk and are urged not to.

This track is closed due to rock falls and safety railings collapsing. There are large fines currently in place if you enter this area and is being patrolled.

Lovely area just outside of Katoomba, but unfortunately when we arrived on Sunday the signs indicated that the trail/falls are closed indefinitely. You will want to find an alternate hike in the area.

Be careful of rocks, it is deceptive how deep water is. Lovely cool water to swim in but wear comfortable shoes for walk to the falls!
