    Outstanding!
Echo Point is an amazing lookout. Anytime of day, Echo Point looks stunning. The majestic Three Sisters are one of the captivating views of this magnificent area. A gift shop is there as well and lots of trails through the bush and to the first sister! Echo Point never fails to impress to anyone, locals or tourists. - Asha, 9yo

    A unique experience
This is a must-see if you are in Sydney, but I doubt the value of a guided tour on a bus. There are a couple of sites with lookouts and they are worth the trip 100%. The location is about 2 hours away from Sydney. Unless you are also hiking in the canyon (we did), there is little else to occupy you for the rest of the day. The best option is driving there and doing a hike.

    Foggy, soggy, but fun.
Summer is peak fog time in the Blue Mountains, and the afternoon I recently went to Echo Point was no exception. Pea soup. Couldn't see a thing. But it shouldn't spoil your trip up here. Take the cliff walk to Katoomba Falls Reserve from Echo Point. Enjoy the bush in cool misty conditions. Check out Katoomba Cascades.

    Incredible location
I visited Echo Point on October 25th as part of a group tour I was taking. This area is an extraordinary natural beauty. The Three Sisters Lookout point is located here and it’s an amazing place. I would highly recommend this location.

    Incredible views
Echo Point lookout gives you incredible views of three sisters and the valley and sandstone ridges that are blue mountains. When we visited it was extremely crowded. Our tour was on a Sunday, perhaps a non-weekend day is better to avoid excessive crowds.

    Stunning!!!
If you have a chance to visit, you absolutely should, the views are AMAZING! You should also reserve enough time (an hour or two) to be able to walk along the tracks going into different directions. It doesn't take much to get away from the crowded spots and there are so many beautiful sights and lookout points basically just around the corner.

Echo Point Lookout is stunning. We were fortunate enough to visit on a beautiful Spring day with clear blue skies and a vista that seemed to go on forever. Don’t be deceived, the crowds are here in the thousands but be patient and you’ll find your place at the safety rail and be able to enjoy the view. Car parking fees are a little steep but as long as the funds are being used to maintain the infrastructure of the lookout then it’s money well spent.

We visited Echo Point Lookout in December 2019 and whilst the distant views from the Lookout were spoilt by the smoke from the bushfires, it did not detract from the view of the Three Sisters or the tree canopy far below us. There is ongoing renovation going on at the site and the visitor centre attracts the usual load of coach tourists. We were able to visit outside of opening hours and I would recommend visiting the Lookout in the early morning or at dusk to avoid the crowds. There are a number of walks/trails from the Lookout but due to the bushfire risk we were not able to explore them fully.

We came here on two different days and had two totally different experiences and fortunately we stayed locally overnight. The fist day was rainy which resulted in a foggy cloudy day and we were literally up in the clouds and was mystical as we looked from the ledge.

On the second day, the clouds cleared and the views were magnificent and majestic!

Be wary that it’s paid meter parking around the area, so if you don’t want to pay, suggest being there after 5pm especially during the summer.

This is an area where you can have a good view of the Three Sisters and its surroundings. I'll recommend bringing a good pair of hiking shoes/boots and going for a nice walk down the Giant Stairway to the valley floor and to the Federal Pass. I've even seen locals jogging along this path, but I wouldn't propose that, if you're not a seasoned runner. After around 1 hour of walking, you can get to see the Katoomba Falls and the Katoomba Scenic Railway (which is rather expensive in my opinion).

We visited four times today. On the first three occasions the view was totally absent due to mist, despite the town itself being clear. If we had parked we would have paid a fortune particularly as the member of staff told us to hang around as the mist would probably clear within minutes. We parked outside the controlled zone so paid nothing. We fortunately managed to return at sunset when the mist had eventually cleared. No parking charge at that time, coach parties had gone, superb views and photographs.

This is a very accessible lookout. Plenty of parking all around. Walk down the ramp to see the three sisters. There’s a second lower lookout that can be reached by ramp.

There’s some pretty major works going on here right now, so you need to walk right down to the end of the path to see the views.

Spectacular at sunrise and sunset. Also illuminated at night time.

IT is the best spot to see Blue Mountains in my mind so there are full of tourists everywhere. I think it is better to go in the early morning to avoid the crowd. You cannot take a photo without people.
Finding a parking space is extremely difficult although you are willing to pay the meter.

Echo Point NEEDS to be on your list when you go to The Blue Mountains. The lookout that's been created is incredible. The views are out of this world, the view of The Three Sisters is uninterrupted and breathtaking, there are walking tracks, multiple viewing platforms, what more could you want?! Being English, I loved that there is a lookout named after Queen Elizabeth! Made me feel closer to home.

Get there before 9am and you can park for free. There's toilets on site and a restaurant nearby - this wasn't open when we went but from what I've seen online it looks like lovely food and the views of course would be incredible.

The Echo Point Lookout is quite nice really but we found a number of other places that had equal or better views that weren't cluttered up by coach-loads of tourists, armed with selfie sticks, drones and the like. The level of inconsideration of some was spectacular, We even spotted one guy smoking (presumably against rules). Plus the top is a bit of a building site at the moment. So by all means go, later on in the day when the masses have cleared off, check out the view and move on.
