The place itself is beautiful but the crowds are unbelievable (eye rolling back). Loud, inconsiderate and pushy (I mean really push you down the steps because they don’t know how to queue!). I won’t say from which country but anyone sure can guess it right....More

We rented a car to drive from Sydney to the Blue Mountains. We stayed in Katoomba (don't miss the great pizza place there!!!, see other review) and drove up to the scenic site of the Three Sisters. We walked. I am not an enthusiastic walker, but even for me it was no problem. I hate cable cars, scares the living daylight out of me, so I avoid them whenever possible. You really don't need them to have a fabulous view over the mountain tops. Have fun you guys!
Shouldn't be a problem. How ever I'd highly recommend you dress up very warmly In July. It's winter so hope you guys remember to pack warm clothes. As far as the weather goes..you might need to look at the local weather... More
Shouldn't be a problem. How ever I'd highly recommend you dress up very warmly In July. It's winter so hope you guys remember to pack warm clothes. As far as the weather goes..you might need to look at the local weather forecasts for Blue Mountains and see which days are great for an outdoor adventure.
HAve an awesome time.
