An overnight visit to Katoomba. I think it must have been around 1960-1965 since I last walked down to the 3 Sisters; so much has changed! A blast from the past; nostalgia! I'm 65 yo and it was a testing but enjoyable walk!

You can't go to the Blue Mountains without checking this natural wonder out. When we visited there was low lying cloud/mist and this added an eerie atmosphere. Take coins for parking and expect to walk a wee bit. Car spaces fill up quickly.

We went twice, once in morning when it was rainy and foggy, and once in afternoon after the sun came out and the fog lifted. The contrast in views was great. This overlook is very accessible for handicapped visitors (ramps), but the walk to the...More

On just about everyday the views are stunning but if it is raining you can expect to see almost nothing as the mist (fog) covers the entire valley and the 3 sisters can be hard to see, otherwise if you miss this place you have...More
