The Katoomba Falls is a nice sight to take in as you walk around the blue mountain area. The guides there say it has never been recorded as drying up since records began which is very rare for a waterfall in this direction.
As I've visited many great waterfalls in the wonderful, friendly and safe Philippines - a destination that more Australians are becoming aware of as an excellent alternative to overpriced Australia - I thought Katoomba Falls, while pleasant, was a bit of a let down.
My husband and I walked the Katoomba Falls Floodlit walk down to bottom of Scenic Railway line. What a gorgeous tranquil walk. Lots and lots of steps but beautiful views looking out over The Three Sisters and Katoomba Falls.
