Katoomba Falls can be seen easily from the Katoomba Cascades walks, various lookouts along the Prince Henry Cliff Walk, and Scenic World if you so choose. The picnic area is great.

The best views are from the "Skyway" cable car. There is also a little walk from the Katoomba side down to various levels of the waterfall

The Katoomba Falls is a nice sight to take in as you walk around the blue mountain area. The guides there say it has never been recorded as drying up since records began which is very rare for a waterfall in this direction.

View the falls whilst taking the Skyway or simply walk around on the walkways. Relaxing listening to the water flowing.

As I've visited many great waterfalls in the wonderful, friendly and safe Philippines - a destination that more Australians are becoming aware of as an excellent alternative to overpriced Australia - I thought Katoomba Falls, while pleasant, was a bit of a let down. It...More

Only went there after playing Golf at local course. Had we known how beautiful it was would have spent more time. Not for the faint hearted. Easy walks are available but some of the harder ones exceptional. Just returned from New Zealand which was fantastic,...More

There is convenient access at Scenic World leading to a few lookout points for Katoomba Falls. Well done Blue Mountains National Park and staff. The fall could be the smaller version of other falls in the region but still worth a visit. If you plan...More

The falls are very pretty from the skyway. The falls are on a natural spring so they are always flowing. Its worth a photo from the skyway.

So Katoomba Falls and Katoomba Cascades are 2 different water falls. Getting to the falls, I look the Skywalk from Scenic world to the other side then walked down to the Katoomba Cascades. From here it can be a bit tricky getting to the Katoomba...More

Hi Anthony, the falls are 800 feet or 244 meters, there are 3 different vertical portions with cascading falls over rocks in between.
