10km return walk from Selwyn car park, you can visit the old heritage hut: Four Mile Hut, built 1937. You can marvel at the resourcefulness of the early explorers.

Selwyn Snowfields is a small, family-friendly snow resort located in the northern section of Kosciuszko National Park; just west of Kiandra. The scenery as you drive towards the Mountain snowfields is spectacular. Trees, rivers and lakes give way to snow covered mountains and the whole...More

For a first time visit to the snow for young children, it was great. But we brought tickets for the tobaggining and felt it was a bit too dangerous, so only had one ride. There was no safety cushioning and we couldnt see any employees...More

Helpful staff + family friendly + good snow + nice weather = all good. Hiring everything with lift pass and lesson around $100 each per day.

Relatively quiet snow fields, with reasonably easy access. A good hour or so from the major towns where you would generally stay, but the roads are easy to drive and the views are spectacular on the way. I would recommend this place as somewhere for...More

There's not much around. There's a pub in Adaminaby (30 min drive from snowfields) and a lovely bakery with pies etc. At the snowfields themselves there is a cafe with hamburgers, sandwiches etc

Adaminaby has lots of accomodation. Old Adaminaby and Anglers Reach are also in the same area. The drive to the skifields is about half an hour but it is an easy drive and very scenic.
