    Great venue
Have been here for musical performances as well as a number of comedy gigs. Terrific to see something like this on the North Shore. Can’t believe that the two soul destroying shopping centres rank higher than this on the list of THINGS TO DO in Chatswood. What is society coming to? That’s me done, I’m leaving.

    Visited during Vivid 2018
Visited during Vivid 2018 and must admit this was the highlight of the Chatswood Vivid precinct. The projected story was very enjoyable and the music was stirring. The Concourse area itself is very good and is a well designed meeting area.

    The heart of Chatswood
This entertainment precinct is in the heart of Chatswood. It's a fairly new and modern building which has a concert hall, theatre, library, nice restaurants and cafes as well as a public open space with plenty of seating and an outdoor screen that plays free public entertainment. There is a car park or it is easily accessible by bus or train.

Went here for the first time last night to see a production of Strictly Ballroom produced by the Willoughby Theatre Co. The production was brilliant in a very professional theatre. The seating was excellent with easy views of the stage, lighting and sound was very good so the theatre is well equipped. There is a vibrant atmosphere at the Concourse, it is surrounded by bars and restaurants with easy parking, all conducive to a good night out.

The Concourse at Chatswood was an ambitious program from the start, with many naysayers and doubters that it would ever be successful. There were problems along the way, not least of which is the inability to date to include an upmarket hotel as a planned. That said, the Concourse has become a pleasant community Centre, offering excellent food, a high-class entertainment hall, library facilities etc. Underneath parking is available, with one hour at no charge after which one pays - which is a drawback and it would be nice if the Concourse could offer the three hour free parking provided by nearby venues such as Chatswood Chase and Chatswood Westfields. All in all, this provides an excellent community Centre, which had previously been lacking in the magnificent City of Chatswood.

Attended a presentation by a guest speaker in the theatre. It is modern, clean and intimate but still holds a good size crowd. I doubt there would be a bad seat in the house with every seat being in good proximity to the stage. Lots of food options nearby as well. A great venue.

As a chatswood taxpayer, I love the concourse. It brought culture to our suburb. Probably one of the best venues in Sydney - plus there is a fantastic library downstairs. Well done, council.

When construction started their were many sceptics including me and now it's time to admit I was wrong. This entertainment venue is of world class standard with outstanding view angles from all available seating and sound acoustics can not be faulted and comfortable seating with plenty of leg room. I can say this from my recent comparisons to recent trips to New York's Broadway theatres that are dated but of course is a different kettle based on the quality of shows on offer.

It's only early days but this venue destination is now attracting high quality acts such as the recent Sydney Comedy Festival. Travel to this Venue is straight forward in comparison to other Sydney locations as it is conveniently located to Chatswood's travel hub as well as parking in multiple locations including at the venue itself.

Multiple restaurants and bars near by makes the area and venue a great night out! We will be now be regulars and hope to see you there!

We have been to a number of concerts of the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra and Choir and have never been disappointed. The venue is modern and of a very high standard with free convenient parking. Ticket pricing is very good considering the venue and the performers.

The Concourse precinct houses a Concert Hall and Theatre as well as the Chatswood Library and various restaurants. There is a huge screen where films are screened periodically and there is also a large lawn area where families can sit and enjoy themselves. Various concerts and shows are held regularly and are of a very high standard. Definitely recommend a visit.

Well in the heart of Chatswood, there is this amazing architectural Concourse. Chatswood needs this complex, thanks to (the ex Mayor Pat Riley, RIP) who pushed for this complex to be built. There are two levels of comfortable underground car parking.Access with lifts to theatre rooms, one small one and one large entertaining rooms,we have school concerts there, international guests and musicals there with bars and level entrance to retail shops and restaurants and the most modern and technology advanced library. The restaurants there are first class as well.

If you go north, to Chatswood
Let it be understood
That the Concourse is the place
For love, food, spirit and taste
In fact, the vibe is unlike anywhere in Sydney
The sense of community full of serenity
Go to the Concourse
There is nowhere else of course!

The venue has a concert hall and a music hall. We've been to concerts and shows in each on a few occasions now.

On this weekend we listened to Elijah by the Willoughby Symphony Choir and Orchestra. Great, great stuff.

So, down to business...

Venue: located in the middle of the Chatswood shopping district. Parking underneath. It's modern, clean and well laid out. Disabled access is there too.

Amenities: Restaurants surround it. The complex has its own licensed bars. There's also a great little (grassed) plaza at the bottom of the steps where you can sit by yourself or with the kids.

Sound: really really good

Seating: no issues here

Atmosphere: for a modern building in the centre of rather plastic shopping district it does pretty well. The courtyard area out the front is alive with adults and kids sitting, taking, playing, eating. Inside it's the people that give the vibe and, once you enter the concert hall, the clean sculpted lines of the wood paneling (actually sound baffles) give the place a calm and sophisticated feel.

The choir and orchestra: when all is said, these folks are the main draw card, the reason we come here in the first place, so it would feel wrong to leave them out of this review.
I'm not sure what your preconceptions about suburban choirs and orchestras may be, but let me assure you this is (to my fairly unpracticed ear) on a par with similar events at the Sydney Opera House.

Give this a try folks. You won't be disappointed.
