The exhibit is amazing, not only the helicopter, but the memorabilia and detail that has been put into the exhibit. Very Good.

Thanks for your visit and your review Cheryl C! With the Centenary of Armistice less than 5 weeks away our museum is a good place to honour the spirit of those who served and paid the supreme sacrifice.

Interesting place, I think it was $8 per person. Good viewing lots of history here. Several buildings to go thru. Takes about a hour to view.

Hi froggyperth, The Port Pirie RSL Museum is a 'donation only' attraction; based on your experience. It's possible you are thinking of The Port Pirie National Trust Museum.

Thankyou cj4282018, for taking the time to rate our military museum. One could spend an hour reading about and browsing our great collection of artifacts.

The Tourist Centre suggested this and boy was it worth it. The Huey chopper used in Viet Nam was a highlight. There was a warm welcome and it was free. But how could you leave without giving a good donation?

Thank you for your review Mike C. Donations do go towards the betterment of our museum, including display cabinets, interpretative signage and running costs; so we are appreciative of all donations.
