Fabulous introduction to scuba diving

Did my first scuba dive with Ocean Dynamics, what fabulous experience. Lots of crew to cater for the inexperienced and those that are more confident. They even had an extra small boat on location for safety and to ferry you back to the "mother ship". Food and drinks were provided as well as towels. The refreshing cold towel at the end was a special touch! The boat layout means its quite social if you what to chat to others on the trip.
I even had time to do some snorkelling on top of my dives. Great experience and a great crew.

Amazing cruises in Whitsundays

We had an amazing Sunset dinner cruise and a half day snorkel & diving with this crew. All crew members were very helpful and accommodating specially with assisting the children while snorkeling and getting ready to dive.

Sunset dinner cruise was a perfect ending. The cruise was well organised and the chef prepared dinner was delicious.

Whitehaven Beach with Ocean Dynamics - 11/10

WOW…..what a premium day out and worth every cent. That Ribco Venom 44 is an absolute beast of a boat and smooth as. If you want to get from Hayman to Hammo to Whitehaven and back, and anywhere in between at speed and in comfort, all in one day…without the crowds then these guys do it best. Tyler and Lilly were fantastic and made the day for the four of us, complete with the seafood lunch on Whitehaven. We will be back. Thanks guys…great job.

Biggest disappointment

$700 for an extremely basic experience.
I honestly am not usually one to complain and be negative but.. the Wow, where do I even start?!?
We went to Whitehaven beach.
You are expected to pay $350pp to then be told you have to PURCHASE your own soft drinks and champagne. I could not believe that!! Nothing was included. A guest asked for a beer and was told “We ran out”. This was after 20 mins at the beach. What a joke!
It took over 1 hour to get to Whitehaven from Hayman island and by the time the staff figured out what was going on, it was time to go back into the boat. Unfortunately the staff were absolutely hopeless and had no idea what was going on. Guests were asking questions that they couldn’t answer, when we arrived nothing was pre set up so we had to set up everything ourselves which took up way too much time.
You are told you get “Beach actives” included.. No word of a lie- 2 paddle boards were given out to a group of +20 people. When I asked where the other boards were, the staff shrugged and said “I guess you’ll have to wait for them to finish”. The lunch was TERRIBLE!! Old grapes and a basic salad sandwich.
I have never experienced something so low quality and unorganized as I did with this group.
Very very disappointing and a massive waste of money and time.
I regret booking with this group and do not recommend.

Terrible

During our stay at InterContinental Hayman Island Resort, we booked an excursion to Whitehaven Beach, where we specifically mentioned and showed the picture of Hill Inlet that we would visit. The company advertises the pictures of Hill Inlet for the excursion to Whitehaven Beach and assured us of such a service. The cost was AUD 350 pp. The excursion was not at all for what it was sold. We left in the morning with the yacht at 9.30am and arrived at Whitehaven Beach at about 11am. On arrival it was told to us that we would have 2 hours time for swimming and then we will travel back to the hotel. For lunch we had a lousy LaunchBox, which was not even AUD 20 worth and the BEST- Hill Inlet was not visited at all. Disappointed and annoyed, we reported this immediately on arrival at the hotel. Ocean Dynamics was not care about the misconduct and a partial refund.

A service that does not correspond to a 5 star hotel.

Booked the tour to go to Whitehaven beach yesterday the intercontinental Hayman hotel. Had to change our schedule because the weather today is bad. They did give us any info about the tour, cost or the cancellation policy when we booked. We were told we have to pay 100% if we cancel. The staff at hotel (intercontinental Hayman) was not very helpful and told us we have to pay full price. We have to call and asked if we can pay less.
I don’t understand why can’t the company helps us if the tour has to be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. I know that the company probably has its own policy, but this should be explained clearly to us including what the tour includes.

Best way to give your sister an unforgettable 30th!

It was the only great experience that we took away from our stay on Hayman Island. The crew were lovely, relaxed, informative and attentive.
They made my sister's 30th perfect.
It was an amazing way to spend time as a family and we couldn't have asked for anything more. It was. just the 4 of us and the crew, and they were so easy going and catered to our needs.
You are able to make this experience as relaxing or adventurous as you like, and would be fantastic in a small or large group, or as a couple.
Highly recommended!

Special 50th Birthday time!

Two couples on the boat for a few days to celebrate the hubbies 50th birthdays. Went from Hamilton Island Marina Saturday and were dropped at Hayman Island on the Monday late afternoon. Steve and Tracy took very good care of us. Did lots of snorkeling, ate far too much!!!! (Tracy did the meals and snacks) Had lots of terrific experiences. Saw some whales, turtles & visited White Haven plus other places of interest. Steve was our driver and we all had a good fun time. He was happy to take us where we wanted to go as well as to places he would recommend to be able to see some lovely sights. Thanks for the fantastic time we had! Lots of laughs, lots of photos and some never to be forgotten memories. Was a trip the hubbies had always dreamed of doing and we are all so pleased and thankful we have done it . Nice to have your own room, own bathroom and plenty of room on the boat to move around. Not at all cramped. I have not had much experience on boats so didn't know what to expect in that regard. Gave you a 4 rather than a 5 because we cant have you thinking you are too good!!!! It was a terrific trip thanks very much.

Fantastic day out

We rented a private boat, with captain and hostess, for the day from Ocean Dynamics and could not have been better looked after. There was a plentiful buffet of food, attentive service all day, and they took us anywhere and everywhere we wanted. Best tip: book directly through the company NOT the Hayman Island resort. The resort adds a four-figure mark-up for exactly the same service.

Port of Airlie Jet Ski Tour

This was great fun! I enjoyed seeing Airlie Beach from the water. We jet ski'd past eagle rays and turtles - amazing! Matty our guide was full of local knowledge. Thanks for a great hour on the water!
