Overview
More
The joy of the sun in your face and the wind in your hair. Only a biker can appreciate why a dog will stick its head out of the car window, and only a cyclist knows the rush that comes from pushing the peddles. Peddle Power combines the rugged awesomeness of a chopper motorcycle, with the endorphin-releasing peddle action of a bike, to create the ultimate leisure vehicle. It doesn't matter if you indulged in a few too many brews and barbeques over the holidays, you don't need to be fit to be able to ride. The first of its kind in Australia, Peddle Power's choppers are equipped with a 200w electric motor, to keep you travelling at an approximate pace of 25km/hr. So you don't have to be Cadel Evans to keep the wheels rolling, the engine will keep you on the move. No license is required to ride either. As long as you can ride a bike, you can ride a Peddle Power chopper, making it a great family experience. The battery life will last for 45km to 65km depending on the surface of the road, and is kitted out with a comfortable wide seat, to reduce the likelihood of getting a numb bottom. Hand-made locally, these robust bikes are constructed from three millimeter thick, two inch seamless tubing. Give your family a unique Whitsunday's experience, with the freedom to roll to whatever destination you desire. All the thrill of a real motorcycle, without the massive associated cost. Life is too short for traffic. Get out and ride!
