We then chose to go on Solaway lass who travel around the islands and you can snorkel/dive on the fringe reef which by the way was best snorkelling I've ever experienced even though it was overcast. All the crew were friendly and could not fault anything they did. They let everyone know where we were going every step of the... More

We just completed a 3d/3n trip on the Solway Lass and loved it. It is a beautiful old ship, especially when the sails are up. It was clear that a lot of thought went into planning the itinerary (where to moor, when and where to swim, snorkel and hike, when to eat, etc.) and the crew was very good at... More

Just returned from a spectacular 3d3n cruise on the beautiful solway lass, a truly majestic lady. This is a 100 years of history hard work and is absolutely stunning under sail. From airlie beach there are numerous sailing options but for me this boat is unrivalled. I didn't want a party boat, as I had taken my dad who was... More

My girlfriend and myself took a 3 night trip it was amazing there was only 12 of us onboard ( very unusual staff said ) as the boat caters for 30 people we all on board thought we were extremely lucky. Every thing about this trip was fantastic would not hesitate to recommend this tall ship

First of all I have to make a statement to those people saying in their reviews that this boat is uncomfortable and such things that this boat is about 200years old and that this cruise is not designated as a luxury cruise. The boat itself is beautiful such as the crew. The food is more than enough as there is... More

Do not expect luxury boat. We highly recommend cabin with own shower and toilet even if more expensive. We were deeply disappointed with food. On day of boarding go for dinner, as only soup will be served at about 10:30 pm. Following days food is neither local, nor traditional as you would expect on such boat (no fish, no seafood).... We are so blessed to come across this fantastic gem! All the crew members are professional, friendly, helpful and really try hard to make sure all the guests are well taken care of! The whole 3 days/ nights trip was really well planned out. We got taken to the best snorkeling spots and was so blessed to have such amazing... More

Family of 4 (kids aged 12 and 10) had a 3d/3n trip on the Solway Lass - a great trip for those that want to see more than just one or two islands and don't want a party boat. More precise info on their website would help (for example, site says bring shower towels as well as beach towels but... More

We had a 3d/3n Trip on the Solway Lass, a Boat with a huge amount of History going with it an a fantastic Crew. Visiting some of the most beautiful sites all along the Whitsundays. Great for Couples and Families its's very chill and you got a lot of Space unlike the other Boats you can charter
