My wife did the 20 minute helicopter trip connected with the Crusie Whitsundays Hardy reef day trip. She was absolutely enthralled with the heart reef which is only small, but more so with the rest of the views of the reef from the air. Not cheap, but a bucket list thing to do and always remember.

Do the helicopter ride, you won't regret it! We used Hamiltin island air and they were very efficient. I loved it! The colours of the Barrier reef and sea are amazing.

Flying over heart shaped reef and the Great Barrier Reef was one of the most spectacular sights I have ever witnessed. We did the fly over tour out of Airlie Beach and could not believe the stunning scenery. The crystal clear waters and the amazing heart shaped reef is something I will never forget. The Great Barrier Reef is simply... More

The heart reef is a lot smaller than it looks on the advertising, but is still worth seeing. We ae glad we did.

Just a beautiful piece of art by nature. The pilots make a few passes over the reef to ensure that everyone gets a good look and capture a few good photos.

It's just another stand-alone reef, personally, I think it's a bit overrated. Overall, a nice view from the plane. The pilot will nroamlly do a U turn, so passengers on both sides can see it. and he will count down to the exact point to see the heart reef.

I took a flight to view the Great Barrier Reef especially the hearty reef. I already saw a lot of pictures of it but when I flew over, I was still astonished how beautiful it is. No matter how people changes, the nature always shows you love is there.
