The Airlie Beach Lagoon is right in the middle of town, near shops, lovely green areas and the beach. It is the perfect spot for families and people of all ages, as there is both shallow and deep areas. There are lifeguards and the pool was super clean. I definitely recommend checking it out!

This is a really nice dog friendly place to enjoy a few hours, lovely tot friendly pools.
Lots of shady grassed areas to relax. The pay parking beside it is a bummer but there is 4H parking about 1k over towards the sailing club and its an easy walk, especially on Saturdays when the market is on.

Great spot to cool off after the long walk around the marina and boardwalk trail . You can't n swim in the open water at this time of year due to stingers so this area has been created to enjoy the view whilst staying safe .
Lifeguards are on duty and a night security patrols to stop late night swimming due to pubs so close by .

There are 2 lagoons measuring different depths. Beautifully manicured gardens and surroundings. The lagoon boosts life guards, amenities block and bbq’s, plenty of rubbish bins. In the heart of the city well worth I visit. Just beware if you park behind the heart hotel you will have to pay for parking, there are to parking meters to use, cash and card accepted

This is a great man-made lagoon and perfect place for a swim on a sunny day. I’d been here more than 10 years ago and it was just as I’d remembered. The lagoon is large (probably bigger than Cairns) so there’s lots of room for everyone to enjoy a swim. Plenty of grassed area to lay down a towel and read. A good mix of shallow and deeper sections of water. And right next to the beach. I could hear Toni Childs performing at the Airlie Beach Festival of Music across the harbour which was a bonus.

Right near the main drag of town, which is filled with souvenir shops and buses bringing people to and from airport for holidays. Swimming in the lagoon is free and there's space to spread out a blanket (hopefully in the shade) and enjoy swimming and looking at the sea. can get crowded on summer weekends, even though the swimming lagoon is quite large.

Amazing place to hang out and relax, right in the heart of town. We found ourselves stopping by here a few times a day to cool off. Was lovely. Life guards always man the lagoon aswell as a safe area for kiddies. Only complaint would be there needs to be a few more shaded areas during busier times.

This amazing public pool is an must see when visiting Airlie Beach. It's so centrally-located, easily accessed by scooter, bike or foot.
It is open super early in the morning and still open in the evening.
The pool is impeccably clean and well-maintained gardens around the pool . The toilet facilities are clean and maintained, the staff are friendly and helpful.

There’s nothing in Airlie beach. It was either full of rude 18 year old travellers, or the elderly.
The town has a couple of souvenir shops, and the rest is run down bars and pubs.
There’s not much to do here - really just a gateway to the Whitsundays. Looks nice but not much else to do other than drink.

Well laid out next to beach with toilets and changing facilities. Lifeguards on duty who are friendly. Lagoon water clear and clean and bottom of pool clean seen staff morning and evening cleaning area. Benches to be seated on under shade with some areas having bbq facilities, also grass and sand sides to relax and sunbath if want to. Good mixture of depths, ability to walk lane swim and play. Water temperature a little cold but warm up with few lengths.
